Angels of Divine Light

Rate this book
Growing up in the suburbs of Dublin, Aidan Storey was the youngest of seven, a much-loved, happy child who enjoyed family life and all the usual rough-and-tumble games he played with friends in his garden. The only difference was, when the friends left and the garden was quiet, Aidan was visited by Angels. Unafraid of the beautiful, luminous spirits who watched over him,it wasn't until much later that Aidan realized not everyone could see what he could see - and not everyone shared what was to prove to be an exceptional gift for healing. In this extraordinary autobiography, Aidan vividly recalls how the presence of angels sustained him through years of great turmoil - years when his happy, carefree world turned into one of misery and torment. As he recalls the sexual and mental abuse he suffered at the hands of two teachers in his Christian Brothers primary school, and the desperate, dark days of depression and isolation which followed, he tells of how the Angels helped him to claw his way back to life and, through the power of angelic healing, taught him how to bring light and love into his life and the lives of many others. Profoundly moving - and with a range of questions about issues such as death, relationships, the state of the planet, and many more, all answered by the Angels - this is an inspiring story of hope and forgiveness, and a testament to the healing power of Angels that will stay with you for ever.

This is one of several books about angels by Irish authors that I've read which reflects the deep spirituality which permeates that culture. This one renewed my faith in the presence of angels among us and is very inspirational.

It was interesting to hear about Aidans life story and very sad to read of the awful things he went through however I dont think I can really relate to the angels aspect in his life as ive not experienced anything like that.

Beautiful story of resilience and using your faith and your guides in the darkest of times. A healing story for many. It gives hope that we are always being divinely guided and protected. We are not alone.

I wanted to like this book, as it was well written, (I would rate it 3.8) but I just found it a bit too unbelievable. I am semi-skeptical, so this really isn't the author's fault, but I found it difficult to read a book I didn't find believable. Maybe I want to believe him, but I remain unconvinced... Sorry my review is so choppy, but I can't think of too much to say about this work, because, like I mentioned earlier in my review, I actually did enjoy Aidan Storey's writing style.
I won my copy of this book from the Goodreads.com website.

I won this book on Goodreads.
I found it to be a well written and easy book to read. I enjoyed learning about the different types of Angels and healing therapies involved in Aidan Storey's work. I felt that his story was told with great emotion and clarity of the subject. I would dearly love to meet this man.

Angels of Divine Light is an interesting and in depth memoir of Aidan Storey's life. He overcomes the unspeakable to become one of today's leading Angel healers and spiritual therapists. There is a section at the end of the book of questions and answers which I found most interesting.
