John G. Lake was the famous healing evangelist who revolutionized South Africa in the early 1900’s. He was profoundly impacted by the ministry of John Alexander Dowie and eventually created his own healing rooms in Spokane, Washington. Countless people were healed through these healing rooms and Spokane was declared the healthiest city in America at that time. In just 5 short years in Africa his ministry produced 1250 preachers, 625 congregations, and over 100,000 converts. He was a true spiritual cyclone! This book is a collection of his many sermons compiled by Roberts Liardon. John G. Lake’s second wife took shorthand notes of all his sermons and thanks to her efforts we now have all of these wonderful sermons.
I could not put this book down! It’s filled with mind blowing stories and testimonies of the power of God evident in John G. Lake’s life and ministry. He recalls his intense encounter with God and baptism with the Holy Spirit which charged him like electricity and produced the powerful healing anointing over his life. The revelations from God on countless subjects including revival, healing, power over Satan, faith, the role of the church, heaven, sin, spiritual gifts, prayer, demonic possession, spiritual warfare, etc.. are eloquent and insightful and will change you in your soul. Highly recommend this book to all who desire to know more of the power that God gives to the church.

One of the books I keep going back to, along with the complete collection of Smith Wigglesworth sermons, and the Bible. Very encouraging. Lake understood the truth that Jesus came in the flesh.
