Our 8 year old says it was amazing. She was on the edge of her seat the whole time and there were arguments about going to bed “one more chapter”. This book delivers on all its promises of fantasy, friends, adventure, creatures, relationships and family. We loved it as a read together book, mostly mom aloud and some kiddo. Looking forward to book 3.

That is high praise from a girl who resisted all chapter books because they were boring and had no pictures. I love the character Troogul and the partnership that develops between him and ...more

In The Box of Whispers, Kendra Kandlestar helped us understand the magic of facing ourselves. Now she’s back—older, wiser and full of spunk—to share with us the incredible power of resisting negativity and being gatekeepers of our own
truth.
