Born in 1902 in Uzunköprü, Edirne. In 1917, she went to Germany to study. After graduating from high school and university and submitting her doctoral thesis, she returned to Istanbul in 1926.

Her articles appeared in magazines such as Millî Mecmua and Her Ay. Her translations of Kadıköyü'nin Romanı (The Novel of Kadıköyü) in 1938, Ülker Fırtınası (Ülker Storm) in 1944, Empress of Portugal by Selma Lagerlöf in 1941 and The Water Girl by Friedrich de la Motte Fouqué in 1945 were published.

In 1951, her three-part philosophical analysis of Kenan Rifâî was published in the book Kenan Rifâî and Muslimism in the Light of the Twentieth Century. In 1955, her last novel, The Priest of Dineyri, was published in Tercüman newspaper. Her novel The Tree of Mercy in the Desert was published in Yeni İstanbul newspaper in 1962.
