Funny (if a little date) book full of observations on being a Buddhism in today's world. Lots of little examples most people could relate to.

A very straight forward look at Buddhism from a Western perspective, in the mould of Stephen Batchelor. The book avoids jargon while still managing to introduce some complex ideas. The book holds up well after 20 years, and is less of a "how to" than a "why to" manual.

This is the book that convinced me to become a Buddhist. It was easy to understand and made a compelling argument.
