The storyline on this book was pretty good - enough that I finished the book, but the writing was not great. There were multiple spelling errors, grammar errors and misused words...like Defiantly instead of definitely. There was no real emotion behind the words, no sense of suspense, creepiness, sadness, anger, etc. It was flat to read. Like someone talking in a monotone. I think this could be a pretty good series, but the writing itself needs to improve drastically, and a real editor is needed ...more

This was a pretty good start to this series. Harley Ray is a tough girl with a great heart. She makes some mistakes but she is only 15 so that's to be expected. The mystery was great and the paranormal aspect of it was fun. I hope for book two that she gets a love interest because there was no romance at all in this book. Wow! This book is great! I don't really try to post some reviews on some books but I can't help myself because I really Love this book! The author manage to keep me interested in the entire book.
