I must ask... What the fuck just happened?
Uhm, I am majorly confused as to the goings on in this book...
He is a self absorbed, nasty little bitch.



Seriously, for probably 80% of the book, he completely disrespected her, theres "Alpha males" which is what she thought he was, but in reality, he was just a fucking jerk.



Throughout the book, as a couple they have many issues, during which negative points he CHEATS ON HER 3 MOTHER FUCKING TIMES



Yes Bitches, you heard me clearly, and you did infact read that right, he cheats on her 3 times, humiliates her in public on more than one occasion and generally fucks with her head.
The relationship is bordering on physically abusive with him repeatedly grabbing her arm hard enough to leave bruises and him backing her into a corner, at which point she is sobbing and shaking.



Cheating once, unacceptable - I dont want to read that shit, 2 times - You've got to be having a fucking laugh... 3 times - once within hours of her telling you shes heavily pregnant with your baby. DESPICABLE. UNFORGIVABLE, Get the fuck out of here!
HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU LOVE SOMEONE THEN FUCK AROUND ON THEM?!

If you are unaware, the alpha male protects the one he is with, he loves them fiercely and would never EVER cheat on the person he loves (at least in romance books)


After reading "Mias Choice" (a fabulous book may I add) I learned a lot about the victims of rape and the effect it has on a persons mental state... So this book, I felt portrayed it horrifically.
A) she was raped by 2 guys while pregnant, and I dont mean she just mentions it a little, we hear about it in graphic detail. I DONT WANT TO READ THAT, IT MADE ME SICK TO MY STOMACH.


B) You would expect her to have some emotional trauma from being awake and crying through the event.
Not in this book! She's just fine and fucking dandy, practically skipping over a fucking rainbow!


Note: Don't write about something you know nothing about, people who have experienced it may be offended, especially with a story revolving around long term sexual abuse


I don't really know what to say about Skylar... I thought at the beginning she may have been an ass kicker, but no, unfortunately she was a doormat, always forgiving him for cheating, lying, running away and buying all his bullshit excuses



Nate OBSESSED like a crazy mother fucker saying she cheated on him, ALL THE FUCKING TIME, that was not alpha, that was a red flag where a lady should run in the opposite direction as fast as possible.
My final complaint..... Everything was left completely unsolved, no HEA, no cliffhanger, just over - the epilogue was nothing to do with them.


Sorry, from me, this was low marked, I forced myself to read it all but it was really fucked up

Wow. I RARELY give out 1 stars, but this... just damn. Look, I can handle cheating, drama, rape, angsty shit.. whatever. But shit. I just could not stand this book. I had SO many problems with it. SO MANY FUCKING PROBLEMS. I wanted to shank myself just to get out of finishing it.

My problems with it? These are all spoilers though, so beware. It's basically the whole plot broken down lmao.

1/ The relationship between her BFF's and her. She ORDERS them around. I just found that odd. I don't know. Just rubbed me the wrong way. It's little nuances that most may not pick up, but I just didn't like it. She tells them constantly to do things FOR her and I get that she needs help and she's clingy and needy and whatever. But shit, you can't throw in a "please" and "thank you" in there to lessen the labor you are putting them through.

2/ So she was sexually assaulted. Almost raped. That's a big fucking deal. I've never had it happen so I don't know what trauma you go through to deal with that and then having to tell people it happened. The thing is... I'd want someone to know because I'd want to stop it from happening to someone else. BUT again, not something I've ever had to deal with so who knows what I would REALLY do. That's not what bothers me - her not telling anyone. What bothers me is the severity of the assault and I don't feel a connection to her and her pain. Because her reaction to the next thing just didn't make it seem real...

3/ The male MC in this book, Nate, gets raped by a girl he casually has sex with once in awhile. He FUCKING BLACKS OUT after someone puts something in his face (rag and chloroform) and then he wakes up tied to the bed and the girl riding him. THAT'S RAPE. He's mad. Everyone's mad. But no one does anything about it. No calls to the police. Nothing. WTF?! They just go on their merry way and she's emotionally and mentally okay with everything (Wouldn't some people have SOME trouble after this already happened to them? And then for some shit like this to crop up again?) Do they... go after the girl & tell her to cut that shit out? No. Find out who she is working with because the male MC is huge so it HAD TO be a guy that knocked him out? No. They do NOTHING. Not even fucking curious.

4/ Yeah, then the ex that sexually assaulted her (and a couple of his buddies too) find her and snatch her. She was on her way to get an abortion (oh, yeah, unplanned pregnancy with the Nate's baby and she didn't think he wanted it). They rape her and beat her. This was so unbelievable. The guys (Nate and her male BFFs and the whole crew) find out she's missing & they DONT CALL THE POLICE. They rally up everyone to go find her. Shot her ex.. killed him... THEN CALLED THE POLICE. It's just too much drama included and it's not believable. The facts in the scene don't add up to be believable enough.

5/ After all that went down when no one was in trouble because .. I don't know exactly how the system would work in this case, but I think you'd be in a little more trouble than that EVEN if it was self-defense because again, why not call the police? She's in the hospital to recover. He LEAVES HER THERE. With the friends. Because he can't deal with it. He didn't know she was pregnant so not his fault... but still.

He shows up 3 weeks later or something. She's about to put the nursery together. He shows up and gives her NO FUCKING EXCUSE why he left really. And they have sex still. Just. Ugh. It's not someone's fault if they can't handle that much drama. But it's your own fault if you let them come back into your life and they're not trust-worthy like that in the first place.

6/ She's pregnant. Decides she wants to keep the baby though she wavers on it because she doesn't want to bring it up alone. Understandable. So on Christmas Day, he's planning to propose to her. She plans to tell him of her pregnancy. She goes first with her gift. He flips out. Tells her to get an abortion or else he's out. Well, too late for an abortion though she whispers that she should have just gone through with it. He leaves and goes to a bar. AND SLEEPS WITH ANOTHER GIRL HOURS AFTER THAT SCENE.

7/ He puts things together and finds out that when she was in the motel (where she got nabbed by her ex), she was there because she had planned to get an abortion earlier and decided not too. That knowledge... staggers him for some reason. And he feels bad. That he pushed her to that (even though he had yelled at her on Christmas Day to have an abortion so that doesn't make sense, but you know, it's whatever) ... and so now... NOW.. he wants the kid. I must have missed something because I don't get why NOW he suddenly wants the kid.

So yeah, at the end of the book, he decides he wants to be a family with her and that everything should be okay as soon as he figures out how to "fix" things. I'm sorry, but what? I don't care how fine you are, that shit is STUPID. All the shit he puts her through and then wants to finally be together because he looooves her. He wants a faaaamily with her. Fucking A. This doesn't even include all the times he's hurt her physically either (not listening to her when she says no. That's fucking rape. He's handcuffed her and she freaks out. He's accidentally rammed her into a door... ) *sighs*


Ugh. Yeah. I've never ranted about a book. Ever. Not like this. Not ever. But I had to get it off my boobies because damn, it just hit me wrong. And I HAVE to read the second book because ...fucking OCD or something but I need to finish the damn series. Damn it. FML.

I alternated between LOVING this story and ABSOLUTELY F***ING HATING IT.... there was just SO MUCH DRAMA going on that it ALMOST felt too much for me to take... BOTH Nate and Sky CONSTANTLY kept blowing hot and cold, which PISSED ME OFF to no end, because just as i started to like them, they would go and do something which would make me scream in frustration!!!

The starting was awesome... the middle REALLY dragged; lots of drama that in my opinion, wasn't really needed... and the end was great and totally shitty at the same time... i just don't understand WHY Nate and Sky COULDN'T get their HEA at the end of this book... i mean, it WAS 400 PAGES LONG!!!! SURELY they could have sorted out their NUMEROUS issues in those 400 freakin' pages...

And OMG... Dom... WTFH????!!!! I mean even though i DON'T REALLY WANT TO read the next book (because i KNOW the next book in this series is ALSO going to be long and full of drama), i will HAVE to read it because i want to see what happens to Dom and Chantal... that said though, IF there is also NO HEA for Dom and Chantal (as well as Nate and Sky) in the next book , y'all can be rest assured that i will GIVE UP on this author!!!

I just finished reading this amazing story. So right off the bat you cannot help to fall in love with Nate and Skylar. He is the perfect gentlemen and a sweetheart and oh so sexy. From the get go both characters really tick me off and frustrate me. I can understand both have their reasons and etc. But you should be honest and open in a relationship, especially after what Skylar has gone through. May I add she has some pretty amazing friends! Alex, Craig, Dom, Chantal. All these chracters are AMAZING and you could see yourself being friends with. They are really good friends and I am soo happy Skylar and Nate had them in their corner. Nate also has some whiplash moodswings. One minute he is hot then cold. He certainly did his share of fuck ups, I can only hope he sticks to his promises in the end and something changes. If I was Skylar I would kick him in the nuts a few times, lol. But that's just me ;-) And even though Skylar had her moments and ticked me off, she was a pretty kick ass chick in the book. She should of held her ground a tiny bit more and kicked Nate's ass a few times. But all in all it was pretty damn amazing. There was EXTREMELY HOT and KINKY sex. Loved the sex scenes! Some more than others and you will probably know which when you read it ;-) There is love,romance,action, there is some points that also make you very very angry and you will yell and scream and curse and want to throw your Kindle, but that is what makes a great book, great! Isn't it? Well I think so. Pretty much it has it all. A must read for sure! Enjoy book lovers, this will not disappoint. I do not want to give too much away ;-)

Why can I not do lower than a star..

DNF for me...

Who passed this book through, and how did ANYONE give this book 5 stars. Here is my thing, I am an avid reader. I read 3-4 books in a week. I love it.. It's my favorite hobby..

I always feel bad when I have to give a book low rating, because I couldn't get into it. This book was HORRIBLE.. It's a DNF..

"She's this" "he's that"

OMG I couldn't handle the amount of "She's and He's" on a single page.. The writer should have done it from first person, because it does not WORK this way.

Oh and because I only got 19 percent in before returning let me say this of the sex scene while watching the movie.. Giving a guy a blow job, is a turn on yes, but your "juices don't run down your leg" If that is happening you may want to check your bladder control because I don't think it's your being wet. Not to sound dirty but the sex didn't mesh, it was forced and weird..

This just wasn't any good. I read the drama was nice, but I couldn't have enjoyed the drama outside of Nate screwing his ex because Skylar wouldn't talk to him.. yeah he's a winner I don't mind cheating in my books, but it has to flow.. that was just someone ran with some ideas and threw them all together on some paper.. Sorry.

I don’t know what to say about this book. I read it in one day and I so wanted to like it, but it just confused me. There were just too many situations in the storyline that were hard to follow. I will give this book a rating of 2.5-3

Skylar and Nate are the main characters but there are so many secondary characters that at times I couldn’t keep them straight. Skylar and Nate are neighbors who obviously are in lust. Nate is basically a manwhore but we are supposed to get the sense that he really feels something for Skylar. He is also very possessive and gets jealous with all her relationships with her gay friends and other males around. I had a difficult time liking him as a character at all.

But, I wasn’t that impressed with Skylar either. Her story was all over the place. I don’t want to give away too many plot points, but I have to say she had more troubles in one book than any heroine should have in three books.

This story meandered and had so many different plot points that it totally confused me. There was lots of hot sex but again; I didn’t understand how they got to the sex when they did. It was argue, have hot sex, argue. Also, there was a horrific rape scene that didn’t seem to affect our heroine at all. In the next scene with Nate, she is having sex even though there were physical injuries, not to mention there are no obvious psychological problems.

In my opinion, the author has a story to tell, but this book needs tightening and a lot of editing. There is too much here for a cohesive story. On top of that, there is no HEO and an epilogue that totally goes into a different direction.

This was an arc of the book that was given to me by the author for an honest review. I wish I had more positive things to say about it.

Well both! I loved and hated this book. The story is fabulous and consuming. Sky and Nate are great together, actually they are pretty HOT together. As you can expect like most people they too have some issues. Their story is full of emotion and intrigue. I am anxious for the next book in the series.

I don't even know where to start..

Lets start with the Who..

Meet sexy Nate and gorgeous Skylar. Sky has just moved in next door to Nate. One look at the new neighbour has Nate racing over to meet the sexy woman.
Nate and Skylar both are instantly attracted to each other. After a brush off that leaves Nate craving for more and Skylar trying to cool her senses, they cross paths again. Only to find out their friends know each other.

Skylar is running from a past that has her on edge, an unable to trust men. When her friend convinces her that Nate is different she takes a chance and accepts his invitation on a date.

The Sexual tension between these two are freaking off the charts...
By half way through the movie I was about ready to explode.. I sitting there chanting..

OMG she did it! hahaha holy shit! Can I just say I haven't read a female that loves to suck cock as much as Skylar. Hahahah No joke she loves it! 

She gripped him with one hand while working her hot little mouth over him. Rubbing her tongue on the underside, she drew him in even deeper and that almost made him come down her throat. 

When they are within 1 meter of each other, they can't keep their hands off each other. 

But Skylar's past keeps her from fully giving herself to Nate. 

Nate can't keep up, one min Sky is all over him, the next she is running cold. Not one for playing games he tells her how it is. 

"With pleasure Princess. I don't need this shit. If and when you even decide to tell the truth, you know where I am." 

When Nate comes back after his cool off he see's Sky in the arms of another man and flies off the handle. But little does he know that, Craig, is Sky's Gay Best friend. 

What happens next is what brings me to the What..

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK... 

This is no rainbows and flowers kinda read.. No this is seriously one messed up, fuck with your head read. I was totally digging Nate. He is a sexy Alpha, I totally wanna do him one minute....




And by Asshole I mean... 

I mean how many times did he fuck up? 

I forgave him after the 1st time. Fairs fair... 

The Second time.. Yeah I was on his side. 

The 3rd? 

This brings me to the Why...

WHY???? Why Angel? Why... 

After everything we had been through... Hahahhaha I just didn't understand. 

I'm a total head case at this point. 

After his major Fuck ups we get back on track. I'm back to digging it again. Then, THEN we hit another road bump. When I say road bump, I mean Shit just got real. 

Skylar's past catches up with her and has her holding on for dear life. 

When I read the scene with Lucas, her Ex. I seriously was about to pass out. I was thinking surely not.. But no, Angel went there, and I was like.. 

I was broken. I couldn't believe it. But Sky is strong and I seriously thought this was going to be a turning point. 

But of course I was wrong...  You guessed it Nate fucks up AGAIN. 

When..  Nate comes home and does another big No No, I'm just beyond words. Will he ever learn? Who fucking knows. But my question is... How in the world can I seriously be into this book? 

By the look on my face the whole book I'm surprised my jaw isn't sore today. 

Don't get me wrong there were some goodness i.e.  holy hot sex in this book... 

"I want to rip this robe off you, wrap you legs around my waist and slowly slide my cock into your tight pussy, baby. I want to hear you scream when I do that. It makes me harder just thinking about doing that right now." 

I swear Sky is a nympho. Even when Nate was being a total fucktard she was still wet and waiting for him. They do it everywhere! I mean EVERYWHERE....

And I just loved Craig, Alex, Dom and Chantal. Loved them. They were there for her so many times, always there at the drop of the hat.  

On a side note, and maybe this is just me, but I am slightly concerned with the amount of people that saw Sky naked. Seriously everyone has. LOL

Angel seriously has some balls here ladies. You want a sexy sweet read full of sigh out load moments? Well this book aint for you! 

You want a book that has you pulling out your hair? Ready to throw your Kindle because you can NOT believe what he just did? Then this book is for you. 

Sweet Temptation is a read that pushes all the boundaries, Angel pulls you out of you comfort zone and takes you on one crazy fucked up ride. You will probably wanna get off, but you can't. Like me, you will need to know how it ends.

However we do have to wait, as this one does not end in a HEA. The story continues on with the Chantal and Dom's story in Sweet Surrender. 

Overall did I enjoy Sweet Temptation? I still don't know. It was a love hate relationship for me. Going by the reviews and ratings on GR, you are either gonna love it or hate it. 

Angel definitely knows how to push your buttons. The one saving grace for me is the ending. I was so happy that it ended the way it did. Nate has some splaining to do! 

And grovelling! And he better clean up his act if this Alpha loving lady takes him back.

And that's one big IF...

I was given an ARC from the author for an honest review. I read this in two sittings, I so wanted to fall in love with this book, but I had a hard time getting through it, there is just too much everything, too many side characters, too much tragic drama and abuse. It was really hard to follow in some spots, and some things were so out of left field I was flabberghasted. I will say if you just read for the erotic scenes, grab it up, there were plenty steamy parts, just the stuff between the steamy parts was lacking, with the exception of the first shower scene with Nate where it said "cock" so many times that that was all I was getting from it, cock, cock, cock. It could have been better with some different adjectives. This story has so much potential, with the work of an editor it would make it so much better. I wish I had a more positive review to give, I will say I respect the author for putting this out there and sharing her story, one day I hope I can do the same. People like you are inspiring, it takes some kahunas to share a book you've written.

Amazing erotic read!!! Warning! This book leaves you hanging! BUT the good news is THERE IS A SEQUEL!!! With that being said, I will get onto my review.
Skylar and Nate met and fire was ignited! These two could be happy moment and fighting like cats and dogs the next. One would think that you would get tired of their relationship going back and forth... And I must admit at times I wanted to reach through the screen and wring both of their necks. But this is also what kept me turning page after page to find out what happened. The love scenes were HOT and STEAMY! I don't want to reveal too much and spoil it for those that haven't read it yet. Skylar's life has been pure Hell!!! Her ex was abusive to her and that made her so untrusting of others. But all it takes is for one man to melt the thick wall of ice she has built around herself and, how shall I put it! THE HEAT IS ON!!!
This was a great read and can not wait for the next in the series!

I was lucky enough to read the arc of this book and you sure wont be disappointed with this book :)
This story takes you on a rollercoaster ride from the start, covering many issues such as romance, abuse, friendship and of course sex!


Within a few pages you realise the characters of skylar and nate have deep rooted problems, which just makes you fall in love with them both, and hoping for them to have a happy fairy tale ending.


Throughout the whole book I wanted to scream with frustration at skylar and nate’s lack of communication skills! Even through their lack of communication was due to their sexual chemisty resulting in many hot and steamy sex scenes, which leave you hot under the collar J


The simple reason I have given this book a 4 star rating is because I found the supporting characters of skylar and nate’s friends really had to keep track of them all and how they were all connected.


This book without giving too much away will have you wanting to cry, scream and even throw your kindle across the room as you travel the rock road journey of nate and skylars relationship! IT IS A MUST READ!

Skylar and Nate are hot, hot, hot!! It was a nice change of pace to have immediate POV changes to get in the minds of Skylar and Nate's thoughts regarding their actions. I was frustrated that they waited soooooooo long to open their communication with one another. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat as the worse keeps getting handed to this couple. Skylar and Nate's connection is smooth then events blow up in their faces and this happens several times. It's true that no relationship comes easy and this book is a testament to that! There's a lot of angst and questions raised and leaves you guessing as there's more books to come in the series. This tug of war in Skylar and Nate's relationship comes down to trust issues that both have a hard time having in their relationships. Can they fight the pull they feel for one another? Try this one out...you won't be disappointed.

And the award for couple with the worst communication ever goes to...Skylar & Nate! Ugh, yet another book I was so tempted to DNF, but the masochist in me pushed through and forced myself to get through it for no pay off in the end. Given that it started with insta-love/insta-lust, I knew it wasn't going to be a great read, but I still wanted to give it a chance, but probably shouldn't have wasted my time in the end. On a side note, I know it seems weird, but I noticed the characters take a LOT of showers in this book (not necessarily together or anything). They were constantly hopping in the shower for some reason or another to such a high degree that I started to take note that it was happening a lot. Oh and they "slide down walls" to cry or whatnot a LOT as well.
I would probably skip this book unless you want to see a great example of poor communication between a couple and irrational thinking of the characters that could have been easily resolved had they simply talked to each other...ugh!

This book is definitely a LOVE/HATE read!

In this book we meet a 30 something woman named Skylar, in the beginning we don't learn of the past she has come from, all we do know is that it was F****d up. Her previous boyfriend really did a number on Skylar, so much she has lost all respect and trust in the male species.

Skylar decides to pack her bags and move closer to her best friend Chantal and her sister which is only half an hour drive away.

I like Chantal's character and she's the ideal best friend, she looks out for Skylar and doesn't take any shit from the males that decide it upon themselves to try and get involved in the bar one night. I can't wait to read about Chantal's story.

Dom is next and I freaking LOVE this guy! Seriously why couldn't it of been Dom trying to pursue Skylar, he would be a better fit of a man for her. He is adorable, caring and would pummel anyone who messes with either Skylar of Chantal.

We see that something is brewing to happen between Chantal & Dom, this wouldn't be a bad thing, I almost want it to happen, I would be majorly pissed if she messed him about though, saying that we don't know much about this character.....

I do believe the next instalment though is written about Chantal & Dom's story.... this could get even more interesting.

I'm getting sidetracked here back to Skylar, on her first day she meets her HOT and I mean seriously HOT neighbour, Nate.

Yeh this guy is drool-worthy, HOT, easy on the eyes looking, but EXCUUUUSEEE me what right does that give him to treat Sky the way he does, what a class A JERK.

He needs a good hiding and doing over! Seriously DUDE! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING.

This I must be honest does have a lot of drama in, which isn't bad, if that's the sort of thing you like. But it was a tad overbearing on the drama side, after we learn that actually happened to Skylar by her ex and his cronies, yeah all the drama makes sense, but in the beginning its a little too much :)

The alpha male routine in this is ridiculous. I don't get why men think it's ok to treat a girl the way they do. And to be so possessive! Seriously grow some frigging balls man.

The attraction and sexual chemistry that erupts from this book is off the charts insane.

I mean like you need alone time and pronto. It's palpable. The sex factor is beyond hot!

Nate and Skylar are new neighbors and neither can keep a clear head in regard to the other.

Skylar has an ugly past. No trust in regards to men. Although could Nate be different?

Will Skylar ever be able to get over her past? Can she truly be in relationship? At first it seems like she is playing games. I wanted to strangle her and yet I got it too. She has an ugly past. New beginnings are scary. Can she do it?

Nate is tired of it all. This is where the story takes a What the FUCK turn. I am actually writing this saying it over and over in my head... WTF! WTF! WTF! WTF! Asshole and fuck up's abode. I wanted to scream and cry. Again refer to my WTF! This guy was sex on legs, and hot, but can I tell you, he kinda sucked.

So, just when I think 'ok, I am back on track.' Boom one more curveball hits me. The past arrives in present and I am once again left with my mouth hanging open.

I was up and down. I was sideways at times. I will say this, this book is not for the promises of happily ever after. This book is raw and gritty. It made me wanna rip the screen off my kindle and shove it down someone's throat.

Although I could NOT stop.

I am serious right now, listen to me, the sexual tension oozes from them. It seeps into your fingers as you hold your reader .. It makes you want to scream.

Holy mother of all that is holy. Skylar is a go getter in the bedroom, changeroom, you name it, these two are all over it. Damn. Read it you shall see.

The story line will either make you love it or want to commit murder. It caused serious emotions and feelings for me- lol!

Congrats Ms Steel, you kept me up, non stop reading because I had to know how it would turn out.

I was engrossed. I loved and hated and loved the characters. Craig, Alex, Chantel and Dom ❤.

This book pushes you to the edge and makes you question everything. What a whirlwind. It was decadent and sinful and I went back for seconds.

Ok, as a bookwhore I fell in love with the cover.
Then I read the blurb and went mmmm he sounds hot.

Then I started reading this book thinking hmm this has potential.
Then it did not.

So I am writing an honest review based on my opinion. I know I am the minority here as a lot of people have 4-5 starred this book. But for me it just wasn't.
I will say that although I wanted to DNF it I continued on as I wanted to know what would happen.
Well let's just say that EVERYTHING did.
and I didn't like it.

Seriously you name it, it happened in this books.

Overprotective best friends, the gay bff, bad history making them both not want a relationship, rape, abuse, rape again, unplanned pregnancy, the return of his ex, the return of her ex. murder, More Rape. Cheating. Kidnapping, abortion (nearly), miscommunication, Lying, more cheating, more lying, more miscommunication, heartbreak, more abuse. more rape and no HEA.

I mean the Hero Nate starts out nice. But then he borders abusive with the way he treats Skylar, forcing himself on her, grabbing her harshly, backing her into corners, cheating on her 3 TIMES! then the ending. when he freaks out..

Our Heroine Skylar... I just didn't like her. Yes she had had a bad past and was in an abusive relationship where she was nearly raped by her ex and his friends. She shies away from men because of it.
She tells him no when he tries to put the moves on her to sleep with him.
But Nekk Minnut - Nate asks her for a date she goes to the movies and ends up giving him head and letting him finger fuck her in a full bar?
While spilling her guts to him about her past that she can't tell anyone. But then closes up again and doesn't tell him things and purposely makes him jealous and not explain things.

It just didn't all add up. I didn't feel their chemistry and they seriously couldn't go ONE day without something fucked up happening.

and as stated there is no HEA. The epilogue is about the next 2 friends hooking up in the next book. Maybe Nate and Skylar get a HEA in their book. Maybe they don't. I won't be reading to find out.

What can I say about these two books, Sweet Surrender and Sweet Temptation? Well, for one, they REALLY kept me hooked; I mean for 23 hours my kindle never left my hand. I even fell asleep with it in my hand.

They are hot, steamy and actually quite accurate which makes me wonder if our author is a submissive??? Also, how much does this story frustrate me beyond belief? How much upset can these characters have, but I love the books soooo much more because it isn't all happily ever after.

These are two of the most amazing books I have read in so long that I can and will now stalk this author for the rest of her life... joking! No, seriously, my honest review is I love this series and am totally hooked. What a talented author Angel Steel is. Thank you for the book equivalent of chocolate!

Too much drama! Who really would involve SOOOOO many friends in so much drama, I mean come on now. Everyone has a bit of drama, and confusion. But this girl cannot just say stay away, and mean it. She is mentally strong after what she was put through but really???? I would have walked after one time, two at the most. He treated her badly. PERIOD. They did not spend enough regular time (what I mean by that is NOT in bed) to fall in love. I can't even say I felt sorry for her, she kept coming back for more.....I didn't get it. I would not ask a boatload of friends to stay with me, night after night after night. I would not make my life part of theirs, so much so that they had to stay with me. Grow a backbone. Too many characters brought into the story. Too much drama.

OMG..I love the idea of this book. I liked how there are more then one story going on with this group of friends..the story is great, the angst is amazing, the sex scenes are hot& steamy...so why 4 stars..cause Skylar drove me crazy!!! She was so all over the place with her feelings it felt like she was a teenager. I know she went thru some truly awful things but seriously she seemed so immature. Now Nate..okay. total hottie, alpha, sexy man and I felt bad for him thru most of the book...that is until Christmas ( I will leave it at that so I don't spoil it) I am already reading book 2 and I still believe this is an amazing series to read the characters ars so likeable I can't wait to see what happens with this group...

What a ride? This book really kept you on a rollercoaster, they were up and down, on and off, happy then sad; it was all a bit of a bi-polar read actually. But that being said,it was a wonderful story full of characters you really connected to, and emotions that you couldn't help but feel. The whole time I was reading this the phrase "glutton for punishment" kept running through my head.
I must say, that I hated the ending - there is no HEA, but I can't say that I really believe these characters deserved one with the state of their relationship. I am hoping that with the second book - while it is based around the other characters - that these guys may get a bit of a second (or twentith) chance!

I've never given a book 1 star before. Even when I didn't care for the characters or story line, I still usually find something that makes the book more worthy than a 1. Not. This. Book.

The book COULD HAVE BEEN really good. Sadly it was not. And the ending....let's just say the main characters in this book don't have an ending. The epilogue isn't their story and book 2 isn't about them. So not only did I waste a day reading this, I don't even know what happens with them. Not sure I even care at this point. Certainly don't care enough about the other characters to read book 2.

This book was not nearly so good as the blurb I read. There was not much plot except for Sky continuing to get hurt, both physically and emotionally and Nate being a complete caveman including lack of an ability to talk. I was continuously appalled at Nate's reactive and explosive behavior as well as with Sky's spinelessness and neediness. I am disappointed in spending money for this book and I will not be reading the rest of the series. If you want to read sex scene after sex scene without a plot or even likable characters, this is the book for you!

really should have trusted those bad reviews. its really sad because once again this author has given a fantastic blurb and good story line and failed to deliver. however I am intrigued by the second book in this series. I just cannot trust it and will not spend $4 to find out :(
the main characters anoyed the shit out of me. seriously like stab myself bad. but the secondary characters were great. wish I had a better experience. I tried another book from this author but I dont think I will go another :(

Awesome!! I love this book. I love Sky! I love Chantal! I love Dom(sometimes I want to shake him, but I still love him), and I love Nate. I've had my moments where I would like nothing better than to slap the heck out of Nate, and shake Sky, but this book has it all. I am totally wrapped up into the lives of these characters. Angel sure knows how to write them!

Loved this book from the start, as soon as I finished I had to buy book 2.... Emotional, sexy, and well written... At times you dont know whether to love or hate some of the characters but either way you want to keep reading...and the sex scenes.....OMG HOT!!! Look forward to so much more from this author.

Jesus christ what a headfuck.... I dont even know how to rate it.... Nate was a cockhead & needs his balls cut off - Skyler was weak to keep giving in to him.... Not sure what the hell to think - it was very repeatative which got annoying.... 3 stars but i think thats bring generous until my mind clears....

I have mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand I could not put it down but on the other I found it very annoying! Nate seriously needs his head seeing too! However, saying this I did love the story between Nate and Skylar and I will be reading the second in the series to find out what happens next.

Wow this is my first book from this author !!! I did not want to put it down. The sex scenes are holy shit hot and the men are drool worthy.. I did find it a little long and to much back and forth and Nate did a lot of unforgivable things to sky which kinda made me not want them together !!! I can't wait to read the next one and see what happens !!
