This is a very quick read and it's not bad. The main character runs out of gas and stops at a service station to fill up, but the station has lost power and there also happen to be zombies there as well. I'm a little confused as to why he tries to climb a tree to get away from them. When he first tried, he failed but he kept trying as they were getting closer. I would have just run instead of trying to climb a tree when I knew the zombies were closing in on me.
The atmosphere of the story is pretty creepy and I've often driven by a lonely gas station at night and thought what a great place for a horror story it would make. So I have to applaud this author for using this great setting for his story.
It's worth checking it out.

Short and sweet. I loved the story, but hated the ending. But it was a thrilling ride to get there.
