Yum! I borrowed this from the library and was very pleased with the variety of chocolate chip cookies in this book. I tried two recipes this morning: the Crispy cookie, and the Chai Tea cookie. I adjusted the recipe by just using 2 bags of Chai Spice tea and 1 bag of Earl Grey tea, rather than purchasing several dollars worth of spices that I only required 1/8 - 1/4 tsp. of and it came out delicious. There's a few other recipes in here I might like to try, so I might purchase this in the future. ...more

This book has everything you ever wanted to know about the chocolate chip cookie. It includes an interesting history of the now famous history and features basic recipes for whatever type of cookie you crave, chewy, crispy or soft. From Malted Hazelnut-Chocolate Cookies (pg 34) to the more exotic Duck Fat Chocolate Chip (pg 63) there are recipes here for every taste.
