Okay I have thoughts. I really loved this series like book 1 was perfection and I loved book 2 and the novella as well. But this last book fell flat for me.
1) I’m not a big fan of the pregnancy trope and that immediately lowered the rating for me. It’s hard to fully take in sexy time while imagining Ariah 8 months pregnant. It just takes me out of the fantasy of it all. Plus pregnancy kinks make me cringe.
2) I didn’t like how the heirs were split up from Ariah for most of the book. It felt like by this point they should be solidifying their relationship and not separated for half of the book. Also her relationship with Sebastian seemed rushed and not realistic compared to the others.
3) The plot was decent, I like how the villain was ended but it really dragged. I was getting annoyed with the repetitive insults and threats. And I feel like the last few chapters were just added sex scenes because the characters weren’t together earlier in the book.
Overall I’m still a fan of the series and love this author’s writing so far but this book didn’t do it for me!

There's so much to unpack in this book and yet I feel there are quite a few stories left to be told. But when it comes to Ariah and the heirs it was a wild ride for them all the way to the end.
Through everything Ariah has been put through in this series, she's remained the strong, quick witted, BA from start to finish. The secrets and half truths kept the story twisting and turning and kept me on the edge of my seat.
These boys, well intentioned as they were, put her through the ringer. But through everything her safety was what drove them to make decisions that at times were questionable.
My only wish was that Sebastian would have had a bigger part in this series. The other four had major roles but he almost felt like a side character than part of the heirs.
Overall, I loved this series and I can't wait to see how PH Nix brings the heirs and King together in the next book.

Ya…no. This series was so all over the place. All these side characters popping up without an explanation- this secret society that controls the other secret society’s magically appears without any explanation and our FMC just happens to become the head of it.
And the FMC just forgiving everyone so easily. That really got under my skin especially Shay and her father. She never even had it out with her Dad!!
….and the fact that her father allowed Wyatt in while she slept?!!! Ummmm…..no!! That’s not ok in my book, one thing when he broke in but the fact that he allowed it?!
And they never even told her about all the surveillance.
Then we have Samantha….ok so you free Owen at the engagement party and you have her and the senator right there. BUT you let them go?! For what purpose? For them to create more havoc?
What was the point of her kidnapping the twins and then Wes? At that point I was like “come on” already this is getting redundant.
And all the torture scenes - there were more torture scenes than sex scenes. This is an RH book, right?
They never said what happened to the council…are they still in power? Did her Dad become the head of the council? Nothing was explained.
The only characters that never lied to the FMC were her siblings - the only characters I actually like at the end.
And the stupid ending with King calling - ya stupid ending with so many things left open without an explanation.

We pick up where the last book leaves off. Ariah is not ok, but who would be with the blow that she was dealt. Doing what she thought was best not only for her but her family as well was the first thing they needed to do. So, here she is away from them. Was everything a lie? Was she duped and conned the whole time? Will she be able to shut down all of her feelings and move forward? What will be her next steps?
This book was so good. It kept such a quick pace that and so many things were happening. I didn’t want to step away from the book and when I did I was thinking about it. The writing was so good that you get caught in the feels with so many situations. There are also so many side characters and their situations happening at the same time that I hope they get their stories told at some point. This was a wonderful series and I enjoyed every bit of it.

For some reason my mind goes blank when it comes to reviews, but wow, this was the perfect conclusion to ariah and her boys. Such a great plot, all the funny one-liners and the twists and turns! Simply put, amazing!

This book could have ended 2 books ago and been just fine. Instead it was extended. Painfully. If you consider this to be a 5 star book then I feel bad for you but I suppose someone has to like non refrigerated cheese and canned vienna sausages. This book and series are the equivalent of those things.

Oh my! Where do I start?! My emotional damage has been restored. This author put me through hell with this series and the novella. Left me with my jaw dropped & heart aching & just waiting for this book to be released to see how it all ends & I gotta say this is everything I’ve wanted & so much more. It’s a beautiful completion of this amazing series! It keeps you on the edge of your seat and you just keep wanting more and more. This author deserves all the praise! 👏🏼

Ariah! She’s honestly one of my top favorite FMC’s of all time. She’s a badass and will do anything to get the future she deserves. She tough and resilient. She isn’t going down without a fight. She loves hard and it hurts me to see what she had to witness and hear the vile things come from the people she loves so deeply.
BUT I was not expecting that plot twist! Holy sh*t! Had me so feral throughout this whole book. I don’t want to spoil a big surprise that will leave you shook so you need to read this!
The men! They make me want to go in this book and slap them around! I know there’s complications in order to be with Ariah but I’m such a big baby and I want to cry every single time. 😭
Even though they pissed me off, oh gosh I love them so much. They make you feel like a dog in heat because they are so delicious. 🤤
Karma came knocking on Samantha’s door and it was *chef’s Kiss*. I don’t think I’ve ever dislike a character like her. She’s the 💩 you stepped on the side of the road. I know she’s went through crap but doesn’t give her a pass to be the disgraceful human being that she is. 🤬
I’m so sad it’s over but I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us. I hope to see more of other characters that caught my eye 👀

gahhhh this hurt! but also mended it while also confusing the heck out of it as well 😂😂😂 the tease at the end & hints of possible other stories throughout have me SOOOOO intrigued, it’s not even funny! haha but wes, my maaaannnn wesley!! im in love with him so much, he’s such a dick! haha 😆 but all these guys honestly are amazing & im so happy with the way aria was written & not just being some catty fmc who thinks she’s entitled to a bunch of groveling. like yeah they groveled, & it was good, but she heard them, communicated, expressed even she was at fault…& then we all moved it on & took down the bad guys 😂😂 it was amazing!!

I really enjoy the whole serise. I like all of the characters dynamic. Ariah is a real badass and i love her. It was a good trilogy

In this third installment of the Edgewood Academy Elite series, Ariah returns to Edgewood to fulfill her contract obligations from during the Selection process with lots of secrets that are unraveled as you proceed through the book.
The main one being that she’s pregnant (which was alluded to at the end of Ruthless Rejection). The Heirs are still keeping their distance per the demand of Samantha if they want to keep Owen and Ariah alive, and now with the knowledge that Ariah carries their future they are even more determined to escape from Samantha’s clutches.
Y’all the emotional rollercoaster my heart went through was not fun. I probably sound like a broken record, but I ugly cried (literally sobbed) with just the prologue. Then I also had some frustrated tears when some scenarios felt like they were going around in a circle and don’t even get me started on all these open-ended situations (Jacobi and Bradley twins plus Eva, Matthieu and Isabella, the three Stooges - Reign, Eli and Nando, King… see so many open ended situations!) but I’m hopeful this means we’ll be getting sequels into this amazing world.
I understand why the spice level wasn’t so ramped up in this book considering Ariah finally lost her virginity and consummated her ‘relationship’ with each Heir at some point. It made sense not to make it too outrageous since she’s pregnant, but I’ll be honest and say that Ariah’s sexy dreams (asleep and daydreaming) were just okay. The one scene I definitely wanted more of was Lev and Owen 🥵 I mean, Wyatt and Owen are hot but Lev and Owen boost it to another level between ropes and knives 😈
I am pleased that Ariah and her men got their happily ever after with marriage, children (hopefully more since I really need mini-Owen’s in the world even if they are fictional, he deserves it!) and the ability to take control over their future.

Stuck with this solely because I needed to see how it ended. Let me admit, that I have not read a ton of dark romance and am not sure that is a genre I enjoy - UNLESS there is a really good plot to follow.
How did so much happen and yet it felt like I was rereading the first 2 book in a different font? The immature dialogue is what really turned me off in this final book. I thought we had moved past that and that Samantha being the manipulative (and somehow strategic) "villain" that she is would have expended her vocabulary.
I was also hoping for some bigger plot twists after what felt like so much set up in the first two books, but it just fell flat with the amount of insanity that was thrown in this final book and it just felt dark/graphic at times for for no other purpose than to fill a quota.

This entire series gave me all the feels... but this book especially. I cried, laughed, raged, and more. I will admit the prologue really had me almost stop reading and throw my kindle. BUT I stuck with it and trusted the author. So let's get into the review.

This book picks up right where the second book left off. If you read the third book/novella then you know it was about the heirs, their summer after the selection/choosing announcement, getting Owen back, and trying to come up with plans to get out of the mess they find themselves in. What it didn't have was Ariah's story. That's where we start.
Ariah and her family move into the Bradford estate for the summer. Ariah is brought into a plan for the Bradfords to finally come out of the dark and take their power back with the town. She struggles of course dealing with her heartache, especially when none of the heirs have reached out and she's been blocked from contacting them. With the plan in place, Ariah returns to begin college. She knows she'll have to see the guys and Sam but she's determined to make it through.
The first time the guys all see her a big secret is reveal... Ariah is pregnant. Surprise! Sam of course goes ranting and it seems Sam may have had a hand in it. However, she thought it would be her.
The guys of course struggle even though Ariah doesn't know it. They have to act like they don't care about her until they are in the clear and able to handle the explosive chip in Owen's arm. One thing the guys can do is provide for Ariah and the babies from afar. They send anonymous gifts that include baby clothes, toys, and food for Ariah. They even "sneak" into a doctor's appointment that Ariah has to learn the sex of the babies... that's also when they learn Ariah is a higher risk pregnancy because she's having twins. Ariah is told to take it easy and reduce stress which is a bit hard considering she still doesn't know the guys are only playing Sam's game in order to keep her and Owen safe.
The engagement party is a turning point. It helps clear up a few things... for the reader. Unfortunately, things don't go exactly as the heirs plan and a scene with Sam and Owen caused Ariah's stress to spike and her to experience bleeding which results in her needing to be admitted to the hospital.
THANKFULLY though the heirs were able to take care of the chip and can be done with Sam's BS. Ariah is given Wes' journal and the guys all work on getting her forgiveness.
However, they aren't out of the woods just yet. Sam and the senator are still a threat. Those two really do deserve each other, even though they are half-siblings. They do get married and Sam goes with the senator to campaign events which end up being great times for the heirs to release some videos and audio on Sam (and the senator).
Ariah has the twins, Zoey and Aiden. The twins are later kidnapped and threatened. To get them back, Wes exchanges himself. Thanks to a location tracker, they are able to locate him quickly.
Sam gets what's coming to her. FINALLY. She truly is a horrible character.
Ariah and the heirs are invited to join NOS (organization that oversees the council). Ariah has been selected to take over once the current head is ready to hand over the reigns. I admit I was a bit surprised to learn it was Wes' mother. I was kind of expecting someone from the Bradford family with the way they talked about making a plan to take back control and change some rules.
I loved the ending! The heirs propose. It's exactly what you would expected... or maybe not. I kinda expected Wyatt or one of them just to put a ring on her finger while she slept and then tell her they would be getting married.

Unfortunately, things don't go exactly as the heirs plan and a scene with Sam and Owen caused Ariah's stress to spike and her to experience bleeding which results in her needing to be admitted to the hospital.
THANKFULLY though the heirs were able to take care of the chip and can be done with Sam's BS. Ariah is given Wes' journal and the guys all work on getting her forgiveness.
However, they aren't out of the woods just yet. Sam and the senator are still a threat. Those two really do deserve each other, even though they are half-siblings. They do get married and Sam goes with the senator to campaign events which end up being great times for the heirs to release some videos and audio on Sam (and the senator).
Ariah has the twins, Zoey and Aiden. The twins are later kidnapped and threatened. To get them back, Wes exchanges himself. Thanks to a location tracker, they are able to locate him quickly.
Sam gets what's coming to her. FINALLY. She truly is a horrible character.
Ariah and the heirs are invited to join NOS (organization that oversees the council). Ariah has been selected to take over once the current head is ready to hand over the reigns. I admit I was a bit surprised to learn it was Wes' mother. I was kind of expecting someone from the Bradford family with the way they talked about making a plan to take back control and change some rules.
I loved the ending! The heirs propose. It's exactly what you would expected... or maybe not. I kinda expected Wyatt or one of them just to put a ring on her finger while she slept and then tell her they would be getting married.

So once again this one was hard to rate and hard to classify. We seemed to have slipped from the school bully (now college bulling in a couple of scenes) and secret society setting to BDSM clubs and mafia type organizations, with a lot more blood and gore added in. Ariah was pregnant throughout the book, and I had a hard time reconciling her being pregnant and still kickass. Speaking of which, she seemed to pick up her highly trained kickass skills and blood thirst in this book rather out of the blue which was weird. She had some fighting skills in the first books, but not like in this one.
The smexy scenes were hard to imagine with Ariah being 6-9 months pregnant (thoses started late in the preganancy because the heirs "couldn't be with her for her safely" up until then ven though he was kickass) and I found myself skimming because of that. They also felt forced and random between action scenes.
And then the editing errors, like a change in Ariah's middle name. Surely a mistake in editing because who changes their middle name from one page to the next? I mean you used middle names a lot in these books which is not a common practice, so how do you forget them? But also there were more missing words in sentences, etc that kept pulling me from the story. Definitely more grammar and editing errors in this one than there were in the first books, so not sure if it was because they rushed to pubish or were just careless.
And finally, I started getting bored with the continual threats, that seemed never ending, but never occuring either. Samantha was just an unbelievable character all around. And the ending took a few pages, where I felt it should have taken a good portion of the ending to make it not so rushed and more believable within the story line.
I liked the first and second books and even the novella. And did like a lot of this one, but this one also felt long, but rushed, with a lot of filler in between. It pushed blood lust boundries further out there than the first books, which is ok, but it felt like a change in the story line that didn't follow the lead up until then. I did enjoy this series overall, and it was a great start for a new author. I hope to read more from her in the future and look forward to some growth in the writing style, plot sequencing, tweaking with the twists and how to lead into those, character building and better editing.

Look, there are a LOT of things wrong with this. It stopped being enjoyable about a chapter in when the FMC lost her thin veneer of common sense and descended deep into Mary Sue territory never to return. Somehow she's portrayed as both the sweetest most compassionate of angels and also a vile, cruel, insane person who sticks people with knives in public because they were a bit mean to her. The scene where they all poured drinks and trash on her enemy and then released the footage of it to the public is another good example of how the author just didn'tthink this through... no decent person seeing that without context would be cheering for the FMC and her MMCs, but somehow it makes them look awesome instead of like massive bullies.
However the thing that bothers me most is the framing of billionaires and the use of the phrase 'there are no ethical billionaires' which has been repeated several times.
I enjoy the romantic fantasy of being swept away by the modern equivalent of royalty as much as the next person, but using that phrase in that context in the modern era is not just disingenuous, it's downright unethical. That phrase should not be blunted like this.

So… I finished the trilogy. I’ll admit it was sometimes a chore, and that I glossed over most of the sex scenes after a while, but I got through it. The first book was okay, the second was not great, the novella was okay, and this last book… maybe somewhere in between.
Out of all the books, I think this one had the most issues with editing. There were more grammatical errors, for sure. And then random mistakes such as changing middle names (Samantha Marie later becomes Samantha Rose). Still, compared to several other RH series, the errors were relatively minor.
I disliked Ariah. She became annoying and OP. Yet another ‘badass’ heroine who’s great at everything. She wasn’t so horrible in the first book, but by this one? I wasn’t impressed. Seeing as how this book has a high rating, and reading some of the reviews, it must just be me.Everyone else seems to think she’s amazing.
I still think Owen is the one guy with the most substance/backstory. I don’t even know why Sebastian was in that group. He seemed like an add on that never really got flushed out. If he was so immensely jaded and hardcore about never loving or trusting another woman, he wouldn’t have given in so easily. Wesley’s character growth was decent, and I liked the journal bit. Wyatt was okay, but I think he was a little too generic. Lev was a typical broody hacker, not a terrible character but not super distinct.
Samantha, the mean girl, was way over the top. Her arc was so ridiculous and drawn out that it got old after a while. And I think half the book was mostly lines from someone about how evil or c*nty she was. We get it, she’s the villain.
I also really don’t care for the trope that was one of the focal points of this book. I won’t say, for spoiler purposes, but it sometimes feels like a ‘jump the shark’ plot in these books, and this one is no exception.
Oh, and if I had a nickel for every time someone chewed or bit their cheek, I’d have at least a dollar. And I think this series mentions flushing the toilet more than I’d have expected. I don’t know why that stands out, but it does.
All in all, I’m glad I finished the series, but it was a struggle at times.

The finale to the Edgewood Academy series almost knocked me out. Despite a slow start, where the players are moving themselves into playing positions and getting plans locked in, when the action kicks up, things don't stop moving until the very last page. The slow burn hurts so good and ratchets up the tension between our dangerously handsome and feral heirs and the equally as dangerously beautiful Ariah.
As difficult as it is for a pleb like me to multitask, PH Nix does a great job of balancing the POV chapters between the 5 heirs and Ariah. My favorite chapters were, of course, from my favorite heirs - Wyatt and Owen. It was so fulfilling to see them in action, doing what they do best.
There is a lot of plot and story packed into the final book, so I think it's most helpful to have recently read the previous book to get the details fresh in mind. However, I did not get the chance to reread any of the books, and while I scrambled to remember a few names, Nix did a great job of leaving clues so my squirrel brain could catch up lol.
If you're looking for a solidly wild RH, look no further than the Edgewood Academy series by PH Nix. It's why-choose, sassy/funny/fierce FMC, violence/gore/torture, spicy heat (YUM YUM WYATT/OWEN SANDWICHESSSSSSS), secret societies, bully romance, enemies to lovers, stalking, touch-her-and-die, OTT possessive/jealous, obsessed (do I need to keep going?). You won't regret meeting Ariah and her harem.

I truly can't remember the last time that I kept putting a book down because I was trying to avoid having to finish it. I didn't want to walk away from Edgewood.
That has to be the marker of incredible world building, characters that draw you in and a story line that keeps you on your toes; by truly making you feel so immersed into their world that you don't want to have to come back to reality.
The journal was such a smart move here because one thing I hate in books is when something like for example it's enemies to lovers and suddenly they aren't enemies anymore but there is nothing there to support that they cared all along. Where as this journal was not only able to try give her a side of Wes that he would never of given her in person (being THAT vulnerable) but there was also a step by step guide to all the moments that proves they were coming for her all along. That she was never alone.
If the journal didn't exist - as much as I think she still would have forgiven them it would have been so much harder because the story would have had to come through clear communication and at that stage she was too hurt and too angry to listen to any of them never mind actually communicate in a healthy way.
THE ENDING ALSO?
I swear I was one second away from rioting when the ending implied - that you know, THAT happened. Like how dare the author leave me for what THREE whole pages thinking that the ending was going to wrap up like THAT.
Sidenote : you know a book was good when one of the only things I have to complain about were the names of the babies

Decent ending
Unfortunately, I did not love this series. Maybe it was just a bit too dark for me. I loved parts of the story, but I never fell in love with the mfc. Yes, she was strong, fearless, and witty, but I never got attached to her character. One problem I had was that it never made plausible sense that she was plus sized. Don't get me wrong, I love a plus sized fmc, but it didn't work with this story. Firstly, she was super agile, able to do cool Krav Maga moves that were super speedy. She was able to get the upper hand on athletic skinnier people all the time. I'm aware that bigger people can be athletic and can do everything a thinner person can do, but facts are facts, and the heavier a person, the harder it is to move quickly!! She's supposed to be 263 pounds before pregnancy, and the guys were always able to cradle her and carry her places???!! Are these guys all secretly wolf shifters with super strength?? But I digress...
By the second book, I found the story waned for me but decided to keep going as I already invested the time into 2 books, so I continued on. This book was probably my fav out of the 4, probably because Aria and her guys weren't together for most of it. I'm not a huge fan of degradation sex, or knife play, or bdsm, so I'm glad I didn't have to read more of that. Seriously, why are all romance writers writing about this stuff? Can't we have a dark story, but with some slightly more vanilla sex scenes??

I don’t understand how this has 4+ stars. I almost DNF’d this 3 times but I really wanted to see the big secret reveal.
Tbh, the whole series was poorly written and confusing to the reader . It felt like the writer had this great idea on her head but the execution fell really short. There was so much (too much!) detail on parts that didn’t matter (she dusted nonexistent dust off of her plum colored, tailored pantsuit…. What?? Who cares? No one needs to know the color scheme and design of every outfit or the exact ombré pattern of the the hair dye. BUT where the small details mattered to help us understand the plot points they were almost no existent. There is now a super secret organization that was REALLY running things but how they exist and what they do is glanced over. How they planned to bring Ariah to run everything is never hashed out to the reader so it can be a believable plot point.
However, The end was the real place where it was a mess. Wes was chipped? When ? How was there time and how did Sam suddenly know how to do it when she was alone with him after he was taken. Then the really bad Attempt at making us believe believe he died but it was really Sam because they…. Wait for it…. Chipped her first. When ?? They just do a flashback explaining it for less than a page and it’s choppy and feels like you missed a page of explanation.
I shouldn’t have read past the first book but I was curious. I know better now than to that to myself again.

I’m wrecked and I need more!
I’m in tears that this series is over. I want more. It was so good!
This final book wrecked me and I’m not sure I’ll ever recover. I laughed, I cried, my blood pressure rose and I’m pretty sure I had a heart attack at the end of chapter 78. I know I scared the crap out of my husband with my scream. That was some sneaky stuff you did there P.H. Nix!
I cannot recommend this series enough. I have so many favorite books/series and this one just topped them all. I read this on my kindle but will be buying this series for my in home library because it’s worth having copies in all forms.
Be warned that this is a dark romance so check the trigger warnings. If they don’t bother you, run and get them as fast as you can.
Kindle format always opens to chapter 1 so I never saw the warning the author gave until I finished the whole series and went looking for playlists to save. She warns you not to throw your kindle. Wish I would have seen that from the beginning, lol. I promise you will want to do so but don’t be like me and actually do it. This series has so many twist and turns and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It will piss you off and make you laugh. It has all the feels. I have never wanted to crawl inside a book and beat the living snot out of someone before but this one made me wish I could.

I can't even begin to express how much I love this series and the place Ariah and her guys have in my heart.
This final book was bittersweet. It was an end that I didn't want because I NEVER wanted to stop living in their world, but it was an ending that was much needed. Beautiful Ascension completed the tumultuous journey we took with these characters so beautifully. It ripped my heart up in itty, bitty pieces, even though I didn't think my heart could be more wrecked than the previous books left it. Then, once I was thoroughly devastated, the author glued back together all of the broken bits in a devious, violent, and romantic conclusion.
I will never get over how wonderfully written Ariah is as a character. She is strong and fierce, but also vulnerable and human. Beautiful Ascension so wonderfully showed us how she picked herself up, reminded herself of who she is, and made The Edgewood Elite regret ever messing with her. The guys all have a chunk of my heart and the journey each of them takes through this series is beautiful. Shay remains on of my absolute favorite side characters to ever exist. This series would not have been the same without her.
Overall, this book and this series is one that will forever live in my mind & in my heart. Check those TW's before you jump in, and then buckle up because you are in for a seriously wild ride!

Prologue - Why does it feel like my heart was brutally ripped from my chest?!?!
Oh my poor heart!!! The end for Ariah and her guys was just perfection...full on chef's kiss. This series was an emotional roller coaster with twists and turns you just never see coming!
From just one series comes many more...I can just see the spin-offs in the works. It was definitely light on the bestie at the end. Which was a bummer.

5 Stars: Loved it! Couldn’t put it down or obsessed about it while needing to get to the end of it. Had to share some bits with my hubby!! Usually read in less than 2 days cause a girl has got to sleep sometime. Will be reading everything this author has to offer and most likely reread the series as next books in the series are released.
4 Stars: Really Good. Whether the story drew me in or a specific character, will definitely continue the series and look into more books by this author.
3 Stars: Enjoyed something about the book, whether it be the storyline or a character but also may have not liked something. Sometimes the book is great but needs some TLC from an editor. May or may not continue the series.

Prologue - Why does it feel like my heart was brutally ripped from my chest?!?!
Oh my poor heart!!! The end for Ariah and her guys was just perfection...full on chef's kiss. This series was an emotional roller coaster with twists and turns you just never see coming!
From just one series comes many more...I can just see the spin-offs in the works. It was definitely light on the bestie at the end. Which was a bummer.

I am just sitting here thinking about this series as I have just finished it. I can say that this trilogy (plus a novella) was a home run for P.H. Nix. Being her debut series it excites me for what will only be a great career as an author.
I love Ariah. I love her take no prisioner attidude and her not needing ganyone to take care of her problems for her. There is really so much I want to say but can't becuase I don't want to write a review with spoilers. But she is a person who will find a way to make everything go her way even if it is not the path that is laid out for her by others.
I will say that Samantha is one the characters I really just want to go over a deck. It has been this way since book one and it continued throughout the whole entire series. I really loved what Nix did with her in the book and the outcome of her finding out phase in Beautiful Ascension.
The guys were chefs kiss as normal though I found myself getting antsy awaiting that part of the book I knew was coming and couldn't put the book down to even eat till I got to it.
Overall I really am excited to read this all over again and am eager to see the next book that was hinted to us at the end!

"There’s something poetic about something of perceived beauty being used to garner screams."
I am screaming, crying, and throwing up. First of all, OUCH?! Secondly, what the hell? Last, but certainly not least, holy sh-t!
Beautiful Ascension picks up with Ariah filling us in on what we missed from her end, and like the queen she is, Ariah pushes through her grief and turns herself into a weapon. Our girl's pride may have been dented, but she is forever the same baddie we started out this series with. I have so much love for her as a character. Between her ability to see through other people's façade, standing up for her friends, and her drive to protect her family.
Lev, Wes, Sebastian, Wyatt, and Owen are left to deal with the consequences of their actions while praying for a Hail, Mary, that things go as planned. I spent over half of this book cussing each of these guys out. Having said that, these guys aren't all bad. What's the saying? The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. That seems quite accurate for this series.
When P.H. writes a villain, she sure SELLS it. If you think you're mad at the beginning...ha, do I have news for you. It can and will get worse. Buckle up and enjoy the ride! It’s definitely one you won't forget 😈

Good grief! Talk about an emotional rollercoaster, seriously, I was up and down so much and as for angst? The angst in this wasn't normal - I actually physically felt panicky at times!!
And I'm going to admit to something - I peeked! I had to, I couldn't cope without knowing and so I peeked 😬 I have only ever done that 3 times - out of over a thousand books!! But I just couldn't not with this one so hats of to you for making me do that!
Now, back to book... Wow! The finale of Ariah and her five guys. Yes five!
In the last review I said we had some answers but more questions, well it's same again with a massive side of angst! Every time you think you have it sussed? NOPE, you don't!
To be honest, I don't know how much I can say without spoiling anything so just know it's full of secrets, danger, psychotic characters, love, a mass of steam, twists and turns and don't forget the angst!!!
And normally in a RH, the people involved are the ones who are ok with it, or maybe they fight it or whatever but basically it's not the norm! In this book, everyone knows that the 5mmc will have one wife and I really liked that, was a nice change!
A really good read and I'm seriously excited for what comes next!!

Holy sh¡t. Ho-ly. Sh¡t. I screamed and cried. This one hurt, but the pain was worth it. P.H hit it out of the park with this one.
This book picks up where Ruthless Rejection left off, filling us in on what Ariah has been up to in Colorado. She may be a little heartbroken but she’s not going to let that keep her down. She takes that heartbreak and pain and shows everyone that she is still the badass queen we know her to me.
She is such a strong female character. She will do whatever in her power to protect those she loves.
Now the guys, Sebastian, Wyatt, Owen, Wes, and Levi. They really aren’t bad guys but man did they make some stupid decisions. They had good intentions but I still spent a good portion of the book shaking my head and WTF-ing them.
Samantha is a damn cockroach 😡 that is all I’m going to say about her.
Heed the warning from P.H at the beginning and do not throw your kindle. You’re going to want to, but don’t.

I am so sad that this series is over but This was an Epic ending to a Series that will forever hold a special place in my heart. The Revenge we all want is so close my eyes were practically glazed over with red.
I don't think there was a single emotion I didn't feel while reading this. we also are introduced to new characters that are in the novella Brutal Revelation and It definitely feels like we may get a spin off series or book within the world, (which I am on board with!!! HECK YEAHHH!)
Ariah is back and bringing a whole new entourage with her and a surprise to shock our guys...well most of our guys. The guys royally fudged up in the last book and have some serious making up to do. I would be lying if I said that I did not enjoy watching them be iced out.
I would also like to toss in a reminder to check the TW's the author keeps a full list of all possible tropes/triggers. (as this book specifically holds a possible trope that most do not enjoy). Take care when reading.
