Not worth it. Says it's set in Maine, but I didn't get that feel. The author seemed to have written it in a Southern dialouge and later maybe placed it in Maine. Hackneyed writing. Not interesting at all. I read two of the three stories.
Very simple stories with interesting plots. Not great literature, but it was refreshing to be able to read a book without having to be concerned about language and sexual intimacies.
I loved the book series. She kept me intrigued through all three books. Can't wait to read her other two books. I hope she will write some more. Her descriptions of Maine brought back many memories childhood of growing up in Maine.
