Ahahahaha…hahahaha…hahahahaha….mihihi…

Sorry. I had a laughing fit after reading this book. I have no idea *why* other than their HEA was a joke. And *that* is not a laughing matter. It is actually really sad.

I am not a fan of cheating romances. I really am not. But I am able to look at them perceptively. I am also reading the en masse because it is my pet peev and I like to see if maybe one day I will find a book about cheating that made me believe it could all work out.

This book? Puuuuuleeeese!
The hero is cheating with the OW. Not for day. Not once. Not by accident. He is having a live in mistress for whom he bought a house and whose acting lessons he is paying for.
But you know, he still loves his wife very much.
Poor baby!
When his wife kicks him to the curve, he does not repent, or see his mistakes. Nah. He lives with the OW, until the OW tells him she is leaving because she only conned him for the money.
Again, poor baby.
The ‘hero’ (I am using this term very loosely here) does not get back or tries to get back to his wife even now.
No!
He has random sex with random people all over the place for as long as he likes.
Then, and only then…pooof….he wants his wife back. Because he *loves* her.

His wife does not want him back. But he is almost taking a crow bar to her life so he can get in. On the other hand, even thou he is stalking his ex wife, he goes all over the place and flirts. Making the heroine, btw, cry. How much cooler can this hero be, huh?

Then a tragedy strikes the family, and wooohooo the non-repentant cheating hubby gets to slitter back in to everybody’s lives like the snake he is-Making it all a HEA.
FYI, the sweetie NEVER grovels or explains or talks. In his mind the only thing we hear is ‘He loved his wife, but the OW was really hot. And she conned him, so whoopsie-do!’.

So, is this author really telling me these people will have a HEA?
Buahahahaha…hilarious!

2 ⭐⭐ - Meh!
=============
He was dumped by his mistress (younger and without the worries of children and home and offering hot sex), otherwise he would have stayed with her. The wife was a fool who was alone celibate for all the years of separation. And the cow aka daughter still blamed the mother for the separation, and it was he who got a mistress. Aff!
