A touching biography of Eleanor Roosevelt and the story of her harder life growing up and to becoming the First Lady. Even though this is a chapter book, the chapters are fairly short and have larger text making it appealing to those who may struggle with reading. This a great book for young girls in the classroom showing the life of a strong woman who prevailed and became a very influential woman to the world despite the hardships she faced growing up.
