Meet My Head Coach has recently been updated into its seventh edition (the first edition was printed in 1973). In this book, Coach Crowell relates his personal faith journey, shares life wisdom he has gained from his basketball experience, and gives advice to people seeking answers in life. The following is a quote from the preface to the seventh updated edition of Meet My Head As good a man as [my high school basketball coach] was for me, I still needed more. As great a head coach as he was to me, there was another head coach waiting to be discovered one who could lead like no other, one who could provide for my needs like no one else could...I needed a coach, a really good one. And I found this person, ultimately, in Jesus Christ.

This is a great book about a guy who plays basketball and he tells you how he served god by doing it

Overall, a great book to read to see how Christ has influenced the life of an individual. This is not a 'how to' book, rather a book that serves to show us how God inspired the author to search the scriptures and how that impacted his life. It would be interesting to hear from the author about how we are saved by grace through faith in relation to the Trinity.
