Katie has a stuffed bunny named Rabbit that goes every where Katie goes. When Katie's grandfather's dog Billy gets sick and has to stay overnight at the hospital, Katie gives Rabbit to her grandfather so he won't be alone while Billy is healing and getting better.

I liked reading this book and think it would be a good read aloud book for an kindergarten, first, or second grade class. For the kindergarteners, I would have them color a picture of their favorite thing. Then I might have them present it to the class. For the first and second graders, I would have them draw a picture and write a short description of their favorite thing.

This would be a good book to read to younger elementary school kids. This would be good to read on the first week of school because you can have discussions with your students about their favorite things. This may or may not be a good book to read, it depends on how the students would feel about a dog getting sick.

I thought this was a good book to teach kids about sacrificing for others in need. The little girl gave her favorite stuffed animal to her grandpa because he was lonely because his dog was sick. I think this is a great lesson that kids should be exposed to.

This was a really cute story, with a great message. It teaches students to help others when they're in need. I also absolutely loved the illustrations. This would be a great book for a read aloud.
