These are poems? They don't feel like poems. They feel more like whatever it is that Jack Handy or John Hodgman do. They're funny. Funny little nuggets of humorous, uh, gold. Like little comic gems, whose facets catch, er, laughs instead of light. My favorite? Thank you for asking. It's:

Basho said to his disciple: "When you have a Milk Dud, I will give it to you. If you have no Milk Dud, I will take it away from you."
