A detailed yet concise political history of the first years of the current Iranian regime. The author refrains from injecting too much bias into the exposition of events, and his approach to otherwise boring issues such as the constitutional process and land reform is not overly analytical. This book is a great resource for those who want to understand the various factions jostling for power during the revolutionary period.
