A collection of poems written after a trip I took to Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte Islands) in B.C., in the summer of 2007. These poems reflect the awe I experienced standing in an ancient forest, as well as the devastation of clear-cutting - both of trees and of a whole culture.

How I loved the voice and language of these poems, their intimacy, humour and depth. I've already reread them several times!
