A revised, completely updated abridged edition of the book hailed by the Los Angeles Times as "the most clearly written dictionary of sign language ever published"--with 1,100 new signs and 1,650 new illustrations. Indispensable for professionals and others who must communicate with the deaf. More than 6,600 line drawings.
Thorough and clear diagrams, this book is exactly what it is supposed to be, a dictionary of signs. Illustrations make positions and motions clear, and the vocabulary is nicely varied. One star off because it doesn't really inspire one to study, but I don't suppose a dictionary is supposed to anyway.
You should already know what this book is about. It's a very informational book. I learned lots of sign language. And it can get very hard to remember all of it.
