Tremendous introduction into the sweet science, I'd consider this a must-read for anyone interested in breaking into the game. Patterson comes across as a natural coach even through print, and I think potential boxers could build a rudimentary understanding of the fundamentals to work with off Patterson's book. And trivia, off the book cover itself: Muhammad Ali, considered one of the best ever, has said the writer here is the most skilled he's ever fought. Not a bad character reference for anyone on the fence with picking this book up.
