Dr. Amy Daniels has left behind the fast paced life and pain of tragedies in Boston for the slower life of Rocky Meadow, Vermont. Little does she expect when she accepts the position of temporary medical examiner that her life in Boston will look calm compared to the murder case she becomes embroiled in.

Excellent cozy mystery to curl up with! I have grown to love these characters and wish they lived here in my home town. A real page- turner that I couldn't put down. The way the author describes the setting really makes me want to take a trip to Vermont! Her main character, Dr. Amy, is a strong physician...the kind we all wish we had as our primary physician...and yet as the reader we see her human side and learn about her hopes and dreams and fears. It is a murder mystery that also has many ...more

I tried rationing my time reading this book because I knew the next book wasn't out yet, but I have zero willpower apparently when it comes to Linda Rawlins' writing. These books are like candy! Fatal Breach was just as fabulous as The Bench. This time Dr. Amy and Father Michael team up to solve a cyber crime. Katie is still cooking, Father Victor is still eating and boxing with Tony, Marty and Father D are still on the wagon and doing well, and Willow is growing up before your eyes. I can't ...more

Another fantastic, page turning whodunit that deserves more than 5 stars!
Stayed up all night reading it, and you will too, unless you only read during the day.

Author of Misty Manor, Misty Point, Misty Winter, Sacred Gold, Fatal Breach, The Bench

As a child, I loved to read, whenever and whatever I could get my hands on. I started to write my own "Nancy Drew" type mystery in fifth grade. As a student, I studied Biology in Vermont, Sciences and Literature in college and eventually became a physician. I enjoy writing mysteries that contain
