This law school casebook is a detailed examination of secured transactions in both the commercial and consumer context. The Seventh Edition treats in detail the provisions of Revised Article 9 (Secured Transactions). New Problems and Notes are integrated with cases to allow convenient treatment of statutory innovations. New Forms are included. The accompanying Teacher?s Manual explains the material and thoroughly analyzes the Problems in the text
The material was pitched a little high for my students, but I like that Warren and Walt continuously ask "why." The law and econ perspective is a good one for secured transactions. That said, I found myself departing from the problems in the book pretty frequently to make sure the students have the basic concepts.
