This is all about breathing and concentrated focus. This is a peaceful book that is a bit more "self-help" than "spiritual." Practical steps are included with simple explanations. What I especially like is the presentation of a concept which was then explained with practical examples that clarified the concept. Whether you use phrases like prayer or meditation, focus or centering, etc. there is a definite encouragement to remove yourself from the current stressful situation in order to gain perspective and ultimately solutions gained from an expanded vantage point.

Excellent book. Well-written and thoughtful discussion of mindfulness, or what Park describes as "quiet contemplation." I appreciate the author's approach; while he's not offering a "new" perspective, his explanations and the exercises he suggests are quite useful. Highly recommended.
