This is an excellent overview of Prohibition. It is easy to digest and pleasant to read. There are many small passages making the text easier to navigate and skim. It is largely adapted from standard works on Prohibition like Asbury's Great Illusion, Behr's Prohibition, and Kobler's Ardent Spirits; but none-the-less, an excellent primer.
