The whole town knows the soldier-turned-rancher just needs a bride in order to inherit the coveted spread north of Rancho Diablo. Good book. I liked both Falcon and Taylor though I must say they had a strange romance. Falcon has known Taylor for about a year, though they've never gone out. He is drawn to her and figures she'll do as the bride he needs to inherit the ranch. He proposes but is kindly refused. The ladies of the town feel that she can do better so he is told to leave her alone until Christmas and then see if he still feels the same way. He tries to work around the rules set down and manages to get Taylor alone ...more

Recommends it for: Callahan Cowboys' Series Readers
His Callahan Bride's Baby by Tina Leonard is #10 in the Callahan Cowboys Series. I haven't read any of the others and was a bit confused about who was fighting for what. It wasn't until past the middle that I found out what was up with the Callahan parents and there was no answer to what the treasure of Rancho Diablo is. Although the reader does get a peek at where it's hidden.

The Callahan's uncle, a very mean character named Wolf, really wants information about the treasure? About the parents?

This is book 10 in the Callahan Cowboy Series by Tina Leonard.
I like the series as a whole although it should be noted that this is NOT a stand alone book.
If you haven't read the other books in the series you will be lost as there is not a lot of summation of the first 9 books in this one. there is a lot of information that is "assumed" you know from the previous books in the series.
This book lagged behind the others for me. The storyline moved slow and there were many time frame jumps (one o

Their are about 10 books in the Callahan Cowboys and I have now read three of them. So I have missed a lot of why they are fighting so much. Or the secrets they know. The one thing the Callahan's are fighting for family and to stop drug dealers from using their land to cross through. They have a big family. They have served in the milatary.

Falcon asks the waitress Taylor to marry him after he was served the last beer before closing. The owner says she would be marrying down. It would not

I had a hard time to get into this story, but this series is a good one. I love when a romance has a baby in the middle. Its fun to watch a couple try to handle the affair for the good of the baby and of course the also discover they usually have more in common than just a kid.

I’ve read a book from this series before, but I had no idea the author had already released other three or four after the one I read. Wow, so many books, but now I’ll dive into them all. Because this series is also about c

This book tells the story of Falcon, proposed to Taylor, an unexpected move by him. They have known each other but have not dated. The reason for Falcon in proposing to her is for him to get his inheritance. But his proposal was gently refused by Taylor and the ladies in town have asked him to leave Taylor alone until Christmas for her to consider other suitors and him to consider his feeling for her. Falcon agrees to the request but he never give up on his proposal and he tries to spent time wi ...more

I thought that this was an alright book, I probably would have liked it more if I had read more of the other 10 books in this Callahan Cowboy series. At times I just felt like there was more to the dialog that what was said, that it was referring to things in the past books. Other than that Taylor and Falcon are likable characters, both have good qualities that the other does not immediately see. So seeing them get to know each other after Falcon blurts out his marriage proposal made for an inte ...more

Falcon asks Taylor to Marry him. She wants to but she has to guard her heart so she don't get hurt. For a couple of months she goes on blind dates to see if there is a better man, but then she is pregnant. She goes to tell Falcon but before she does he reneges on his proposal, Taylor tells him she is having a baby and goes on a vacation with her mother. Only to have Falcon follow lol so he can persuade Taylor to marriage for the baby.

Really interesting tale that had my attention the whole time. The pace was wonderful and the characters engaging. Great dynamic in the relationship that made it very believable. Beautiful storytelling that entertained the whole time!

It had really great flow and did the job of making me think at times. I love a book that taps into my e

This was apparently number ten in a series about the Callahan's and I did struggle a little because of the back-story that was only hinted at.
The story of Falcon and Taylor was a little drawn out and I wasn't expecting all the suspense elements of the story. All the back and forth and indecision by these two got a little tired by the end.
On the whole it was a sweet story and well written but I didn't really engage all that well with the hero and heroine and the cast of thousands was distracting.

In the case of His Callahan Bride’s Baby by Tina Leonard, the time seemed to stretch forever (in reality it was about 2 hours), and I don’t think I really understood much of the story. To be fair, this is book ten of the Callahan Cowboys series in the American Romance line. However, I think …Read More

Falcon and Taylor

I enjoyed reading their story. How they went to Vegas to get married. Then Taylor gets kidnapped. When they go to Montana to bring her home, it's not long before her water has broke
