I'm not sure why I read this book because this is exactly why Harlequin Presents gets such a bad rap in the industry. There is nothing redeeming about any character in this whole book. The heroine leaves the husband after a friend of the family announces that she is pregnant with his child. The entire family knows it is not his child, but they refuse to tell her in order to protect the son whose child it is. The hero says he never believed she would leave him....otherwise he would have forced hi ...more

Heroine gets pregnant after having sex once with estranged husband of 5-yrs when he visits her to ask for a divorce so he can marry his new, parent-approved GF. She's not sure when to tell him about the pregnancy & agrees to visit his ailing dad in Greece. Once there, she encounters his disapproving & manipulative mother again & meets his new GF & supposedly old fling.

Why, oh why, did I torture myself & read another Mather book?!...Well, it was sitting around & I couldn't
This book had so much potential with the over the top passion of the Greek H and h...then there's the rest of the story.

This is one big plastic tub of nasty, lying, self-serving, judgmental, petty characters.

The h's mother is whiny and conniving.

The H's mother is mean, bitch and conniving.

The H's fiancee (although he and the h aren't even divorced) is mean, bitchy and smug.

The vapid liar that happens to be Greek and a friend of the family gets a pass because she's Greek and a friend of the fami
I re-read it and i have been able to see things that i was not able to see before, the issues were never solved, the relationship between hubby-wife suffered cause of lack of trust from both the sides, keeping things from each other, lack of communication and even after seperation and getting second chance the issues were left as it is and hubby still not accepting his part of fault in break down of their marriage and his attitude about cheating is so frustrating,he is all squeaky clean and all the ...more
This was just okay. It was one of those where I got disgusted because of the lack of honesty on the part of the hero and the lack of trust on the part of the heroine. It did have a deliciously evil mother-in-law though so that's a point in its favor. :-)

Jane, and Demetri’s marriage was going strong but she abandoned him cause she believed a woman who claims she's pregnant with the hero's child. After 5-yrs hero visits heroine to ask for a divorce so he can marry again. They have sex, she ends up pregnant and she agrees to go with him to Greece to visit his sick father. Hero doesn't know she is pregnant and when in Greece heroine has to deal once again with her mother in law from hell and hero's new girlfriend.

Very sweet and emotional story abo

An intense read.

Young and so in love Jane and Demetri allowed others to influence them and thus the fate of their marriage was sealed. They now meet 5 years later as Demetri has come to ask for a divorce......I just can't get over the fact that they waited 5 long years!!!! They find that their passion is still as strong as ever and share a hot interlude.

They part again.....until his father summons her to the island. His father had always like her and wants to see her before he dies. Jane now sec

At first, i quite liked it but I felt the ending was too rushed. Like them figuring things out, realising all that had happened and gettinf back together was too quick? i thought the book held a good premise and whilethings were left loose, i was always wondering how things with the hero and heroine would pan out at the end....but their HEA reunion was disappointing and fell short. Nice light read though....
ps. i just coukdnt get over the the hero jumping from one bed to the other. How h

Hero and heroine married and then separated because the heroine thought the hero had an affair and baby with another woman. When the hero comes asking for divorce they have one more night together and the heroine gets pregnant. The heroine wants to tell the hero about her pregnancy but he is now marrying someone else.

It was an intense book, I read it long ago now but I really loved it. The emotions and strengths in the book were awesome. However the story is a bit all over the place going back

This one was ok, a nice reading for a rainy day but nothing etraordinary, I didn't actually like the hero, seems he was playing with both the heroine and ariadne even though he didn't sleep with the later. and seriously after 5 years he's asking divorce? aren't they legally divorce after that time?? anyway the hero knows about the baby in the endcouldn't she tell him even though he's marrying someone else, she didn't make the baby alone and he deserves to know he's fathered a child. In my opinio ...more

Anne Mather is good writer. I loved the fact that she used the concept of divorce to add drama to the story. BRAVO!!!

I don't like the misunderstanding/ other people lied to us romances because if they just talked it never would have happened ....prefer the character driven stories
Hero was unfaithful during their separation. So didn't like that part.
