3 1/2 Stars! ~ I enjoyed this very early Anne Mather romance. As was the norm in the 70's, we are not privy to the hero's thoughts accept through his actions and the reactions of other around him. Charlotte is a young woman who takes her career seriously and resents the biases that she faces being a woman. From their meeting, Charlotte and Patrick spark. It's lovely to read these early romances written by my favourite authors.
I loved the heroine in this book, she was intelligent, quirky and totally feisty! She was one heck of a woman and the way she intimidated and stood up for herself to the hero was pleasant to read. I love that Yvonne got hers in the end, that villain should of definitely been spanked as a child. She was way too manipulative, heartless and overall ridiculous!
