One of radio’s loudest, orneriest, most beloved, and highest-rated sports radio personalities reads his bold and hilarious memoir of sports, manhood, and what it is to be a fan.

In 1991, a young Craig Carton drove all of his belongings in a crappy 1980 Buick to Buffalo, New York, to interview for a job at WGR radio. Hired for $12,000 a year, he rented a room in a retirement

Craig Carton only gets at most 15 minutes a day to make an impression on me. He is the co-host of the morning show that I listen to on my way to work. I can safely say that I enjoy those 15 minutes because of him. When I heard on the radio that he was coming out with a book I knew I had to get it. Not having a lot of time to set a side for reading I had a hard time putting this book down. It is just a collection of stories from his youth to present day. It's the getting to know Craig Carton the ...more

Carton is a talk radio host who used to be on NJ101.5, and is now one WFAN in NYC with Boomer Esiason. I know him from 101.5. He talks a little about his childhood, and then how he got into radio, starting out broadcasting at a station that was in an old Victorian house, and how he moved on to more money and bigger stations. He also has a couple stories about how a friend or a boss tried to set him up with a hooker and he always declined. It's like reading a book by your friend who likes to bull ...more

Nothing earth shattering but pretty funny. An extension of the guy you hear every day.

I vaguely remember Craig Carton during his early 90's stint on Cleveland's WWWE, now WTAM. Loudmouth was a typical account of life as a radio personality but with interesting humor and stories to fill in between stories of bad radio station managers and co-workers.

As an avid fan of the Boomer and Carton show, this book was a no-brainer for me. This is not just a typical "sports guy" book, but rather a deep look into the fascinating life of a man who envisioned a dream and captured it by any means necessary.

Craig Carton's 'Loudmouth' is uncensored, inappropriate and incredibly entertaining. For my full review, please visit my blog post.

I really enjoyed getting an inside peek at "Carton"...I have enjoyed listening to the Boomer and Carton radio show for the last number of years. The book was generally what I expected nothing deep but entertaining none the less.

Quick, fun read. Focused on his childhood and career, and written for fans. Enjoyed learning that his friendship with Boomer is legit.

I liked this book about half as much as Carton likes himself, so I liked this a lot. Interesting quick read if you are a fan.

It was ok. He can be funny at times. It wasn't my favorite read but it wasn't the worst.
