Book 4 of the Telepathic Clans Saga, Succubus Rising

The Goddess has plans for Brenna and Rebecca, and the Goddess has a wicked sense of humor.

Rebecca Healy is a true wilder, growing up with no contact or knowledge of other telepaths. Discovered by a Clan member on the streets of San Francisco, she felt like she’d hit the jackpot. Finally, she knew what she was, or at least

I really enjoyed the first two books of the Succubus series, so I am glad to say that I enjoyed this one as well. Before reading my review however be forewarned that there are some definite spoilers in here so please proceed knowing you have been warned.

I really love the characters, especially Brenna and Rebecca. I love watching their interactions and their friendship. One of the greatest underlying stories of the books is the stories of their friendship. I liked that this edition of the series

Rebecca Healy has spent most of her life questioning who and what she is. She's dealt with her unique powers on her own, never knowing that there are others just like her out there. She's made do with her lot in life, though she's wished to know more about the things that set her apart from everyone one else. When a chance encounter lands her in the midst of a Clan full of people just like her, she can't thank her lucky stars. She finally has a chance of fitting in, but only if she'll allow hers ...more

Well, now this is gunna be a crazy ride! I expected that, but was I in for a surprise. Things are really getting serious, and there's some serious trouble brewing. I am not one for politics, but these types are not the normal... as magic wielders they are way more lethal :) And now, is Brenna ready to take over everything and can she really handle it all?

I was pretty devastated with the "situation" with Brenna and Rebecca... Let's just say the ish has hit the fan. Boy, I was not expecting all th

"Succubus Rising" is the third book in the 'Telepathic Clans Saga". The author pens the plot unique, original and picks up from where the frist book left off. Filled with action, romance, suspense, emotions, and a touch of humor, this book will hook you in and not let you go. I do suggest reading the saga in order so you understand the characters and plot. Highly recommended for all fantasy, romance fans.

I’m not a fan of succubi. Every time I read a story based on succubi, I want to like it, but in the end, I never really do. It’s like, they’re just over the top. I’m not again some displays of sexuality, and I can live with a ménage thing, or even more than that, but succubi just never know when to quit. The reason why I started reading Succubus Rising was because a) I wanted to give them another chance and b) from the synopsis,

I have not read the first two books in the series but, I can relate to the story. I think this is my few times I'm reading something about succubus thingy. I also feel that the girls are the strongest team in this story. It's fast pace storyline, interesting plot and funny in between. Sometimes I felt like the story is a bit over the top, exagerative kind of way. Or maybe in a simple way, there are times I felt anoyed with the character and most of the scenes. However, I still like the book, may ...more

I was very very disappointed with this book and it seems with the end of the series as their is only 4. I felt this book was disjointed and rushed it didn't seem to read as easily as the prior 2 and it seemed I was easily bored and seemed to skim a lot which is something I rarely do. I feel the author gave up on this series and the characters after book 2 and was just in rush to be through with the series with the characters and move on to something else to bad this series could have been so muc ...more
My main review of this book will be here next month, for part of the promotional book tour.

In the meantime, I liked this book because to me it was more about Rebecca. Rebecca is supposed to be at an elevated status in the other two books, but in this one Rebecca gets a lot of attention, a relationship, and some major excitement in her life. I thought this was a refreshing change from Brenna, who usually gets all the excitement.

I was a beta reader (twice) on this book and it was too long ago now for me to write a firm review, so just rating it to mark it as read in my records.

I made silver and turquoise jewelry for almost a decade, ended up in nursing school, then took a master’s in business. Along the way I worked in construction, as a newspaper editor, a teacher, and somehow found a career working with computers.

As to my other interests, I love the outdoors, especially the Rocky Mountains. I’ve skied since high school, with one broken leg and one torn ACL to show for
