I've read just about every book by this author. She's incredibly talented, and her stories suck you right in.

Devon is a high school senior, doing everything it takes to get into college. She's currently been introduced to a new scholarship, if you can prove your family has been around town for five generations, you have a chance at a scholarship. She sets to town hall, looking up records, and lucky for her, her crush works there... As soon as they start spending time together, weird things happ

This was a good read. Brock and Devon's relationship develops slowly while he helps her with a research project on her family's history. Together they discover the truth about the curse on Devon's family.

I really liked this book because basically I couldn't put it down and I read it in one sitting. The book made me seriously sad for Devon and how the town folk treat her basically because of who her mom is even though she is a good person. I liked the fact that the book was about more than Devo

A terrific read!! I really enjoyed this story...from the lady in the black veil & her spookiness to the wonderful "knight in shining armor" who's always looking out for the damsel in distress. :) I was drawn into their lives, & on the search to the truth(s) behind this town's secrets & lies right along with Devon, Gil, & Brock. I love playing detective, & discovering Jessamy's true intentions, past, desires were captivating. But...the hidden scandal behind others actions & ...more

Great, engaging story. I was upset when it ended. Best book, in my opinion, by Jeanette Battista.

She spent a summer in England and Scotland studying the historical King Arthur, which did nothing to curb her obsession. To satisfy her adrenaline cravings—since sword fighting is not widely accepted in these mode ...more
