“But even if you have the best laid plans, life has a way of taking new turns. Those sturdy walls I had built, in order to raise my brother Luke and protect myself weren’t impenetrable. I guess my heart wasn’t satisfied with living safely. But it wasn’t until I connected with him, emotionally, mentally, sexually, that I wanted to tear down those walls, open my heart, and dare myself to really live.”

**sigh** I kinda expected more to be honest. I never really connected with the heroine and as for the hot British Hero...I wanted to connect with him more; aside from his accent, I thought he just ok. Too bad really.
-------
My initial reaction when I first discovered this book:
Not sure what this will be about, but the author stated this in her mini GR bio: "I love sweet, steamy, happy endings! And complicated men." If that's any indication of what her books will be like, I'm all for it ...more

Wowwy... wow... wow!!! What a fast paced, swept me off of my feet, had me at the first rude hello love story!! Amy's father had always want her to live and take risks, but after his death she decide

In times of trouble, times where you have to make a big decision, that’s when you’ll learn who you are.” He repeated it so often that it became almost like a prayer for him. “Are you the kind of person who lives with her head or with her heart?”
This is the pearls of wisdom Amy’s Dad left her with just before he dropped dead of a heart attack. Her Mom abandoned her and her brother soon after to ‘find herself’ and Amy is left as a young adult raising her younger brother. We join her some six ...more

This one didn't do it for me, but please don't let this review discourage you from giving it a try.
I never felt connected to the main characters and I found myself skimming through portions of the book. For instance, there was a scene where Amy went on and on about how much she loved stationary and then we got an in depth description of how she went about making an invitation. *blank stare*

First I want to thank Paige for allowing me to read and ARC copy of Dare Me Forever. I have to say that this book really blew me away. I am going to do this review a little differently then what I normally do because there were some things that bothered me and I hope Paige does a Novella about Ryan and Amy or another book solely dedicated to them. So I am going to review the characters for this review because it is important to feel the characters and what they do and how they act and can I tell

This book was exactly what I needed for a cold spring day! Dare Me Forever was a fabulous book and I just couldn’t put it down.
Amy spent most of her life raising her younger brother when her dad died and her mom found better things to occupy her life. She struggled through high school and college to ensure her brother had everything he needed. Now opening her very own business, her life is finally hers.

Amy is the main character whose dad has passed away unexpectantly from a heart attack and she's left to take care of her younger brother, Luke. Her mom also took off from their lives unexpectantly to shack up with several different husbands. Low & behold, Amy wasn't handed things on a silver platter-she knows what she wants in life and works hard for it without expecting any handouts--I love this about her!! What a great Debut from Paige Edward.
Amy Miller is on her own for the first time in her life. After raising her baby brother, now that he is off to college, it's time for Amy to take time for herself.
What she didn't expect was for the love of her life to walk back into her life. Hunter was her high school boyfriend, her world until he abruptly walked out of it without one explanation. Now 6 years later he is wanting to start back up where they left off. He invites her to a BBQ at his parents ho ...more

First off, I loved this book. This story was a fresh change with the fact that her first love came back into her life just as this connection was happening with a HOT Brit. I really felt the mixed emotions that Amy had. Here she has Hunter trying to win back her trust and then there is Ryan, who she knows nothing about but that pull to be next to him is really something. I know what Amy was going through, I went with the pull. I have been with my husband now for 17 yrs and could not be happier!!

This book was a really good read. Paige Edward is a really good author and her debut book is really good. The story was paced pretty well, however, I didn't feel like the story was long enough to properly develop the story line unless the author plans to write another book that finishes this one. I mean, the author did leave quite a few loose ends, so I really hope that she writes a second book. Other than that this book was a definite page turner that kept me hooked from start to finish.

Love, love, loved this book. Swoonworthy love plus a kick ass heroine and a delcious Brit, how could you go wrong. ì rooted for Amy the whole way through, and so happy for her to get her happily ever after! And the steamy scenes...hot! Can't wait for more from Paige Edward.

I must confess, i didn't start this book with much hope due to comments. It just was there on my reading stack, so i picked it up.
The story was a total letdown even with being totally cliched. There were so many loopholes in the story line that it was difficult to keep a track.
The heroine was clueless most of the time and the two heroes...i can't even start with them.
Sorry, not sorry. ...more

The premise of “Dare Me Forever” was quite interesting. A love triangle including a past love and a new man. Unfortunately, the story fell short of my expectations. Some of the character developments and the story-line itself seemed a little choppy and incomplete to the point where I did have to go back and re-read some of the chapters to see if I missed something along the way.

I don’t like saying I didn’t like a book. I really don’t. It’s not fun. I hate it even more when I didn’t like a book enough that I wasn’t able to finish it. Doubt me all you want, but I really mean it when I say it’s not an easy decision to come to when you realize you can’t finish a book. And when there are so many things telling me that I will like a book, and then I don’t…it makes me very sad. This is not going to be a fun for me because I wi ...more

This was a cute book, but it just didn’t keep my attention like I had hoped it would. I think there could have been some more character development and some of the scenes didn't feel like they were fully described. Amy has had a pretty hard life since her father passed away and she’s been raising her brother all on her own, but now her brother has left for college and she’s opening up a stationary store. She’s thrilled about opening it up and all of the great clientele that she'll get. Her old f

This was a cute story -
I wasn't too impressed with the style of it, though. When I first started reading it, Amy came off as a hard worker. She grew up raising her little brother after her dad passed away and her mom left them at such a young age.
She grew up too fast. But her teenage years wasn't all that bad. She found comfort and love with Hunter, a family as the Morgans welcomed her and her brother into their home, sharing their meals and hearts with them.

Honestly, i did not like the book much. It was an OK read but lot of things were missing in my opinion.
Usually, i use to like most of the heroines but i did not enjoy Amy's character from this book, i felt it was not a fully developed one...!!

DARE ME FOREVER by PAIGE EDWARD
Paige Edward’s Dare Me Forever has an easy breezy story however I would’ve appreciate it more if the story has more meaning to it. I mean, I know it’s about Amy & Ryan but it lacks something. I can’t pin point what exactly but it really lacks something. I was hoping while I was reading it to learn more about the characters not just bits and pieces of them and also its supporting characters. It seems to me that it jumps from one character to another and you’ll end u ...more

The blurb promised an entertaining story that unfortunately wasn't delivered by the author.
The idea itself was good, but I didn't enjoy the author's writing style. I am usually the kind of person who when reading a book gets involved with its characters, but in this case it was impossible to achieve that connection.
Why? It was like listening to a friend tell you a story she was told about people you both don't know. At first you are both interested, but because you don't have any connection to ...more

Mmmmm, how doesn’t enjoy the sound of a hot sexy man with an accent. Ryan Anderson is a man that knows what he wants and knows how to pursue it. Amy Miller is the lucky gal that Ryan wants to be with.

Such a promising blurb but to be honest, this book is so disappointing I couldn't even.. Geez.
Let's just say I hate Amy in the first place, for two-timing Ryan. I mean, sure Hunter's your past—your handsome past, but Ryan promised a future. How come she let him down like that? I couldn't even sympathized for her.
The author didn't delivered this book beautifully. If Amy's point of view going to be there more than any Ryan, why bother writing in two different point of view? The author should be ...more
