This is a superior entry in this early chapter mystery series featuring the two amateur sleuths. A combination mystery/legal thriller, this is one book that will have its young readers guessing both whodunit and howdunit right up to the very end. Highly recommended.
This one left us wondering a little a longer than some of the others did. We were suspicious of someone, but couldn’t clearly see how they did it. Ended up being a really interesting conclusion! My 8 year old son and I really like this series, it’s the first chapter book that’s he’s been interested in. We will continue to read the others.
