This is a superior entry in this early chapter mystery series featuring the two amateur sleuths. A combination mystery/legal thriller, this is one book that will have its young readers guessing both whodunit and howdunit right up to the very end. Highly recommended.

This one left us wondering a little a longer than some of the others did. We were suspicious of someone, but couldn’t clearly see how they did it. Ended up being a really interesting conclusion! My 8 year old son and I really like this series, it’s the first chapter book that’s he’s been interested in. We will continue to read the others.

When the money disappears out of the locked cashbox, Jazz seems like the obvious suspect since she is the only student at school with a key. Will Milo be able to clear her name, or will Jazz have to pay the price?

Predictable story line. I can see why younger readers would enjoy this story. Who stole the money? You'll have to read and find out.
