Bill Yenne is the author of several novels and over three dozen books on historical topics. He has also been a contributor to encyclopedias of both world wars.

The writing is excellent, many ages would be able to understand and appreciate the literature. 4/5 only because it is not simply stellar

This is my favorite children's Easter picture book. It is filled with beautiful illustrations and the language is very easy to read and understand. Both of my daughters have grown up with this picture book and they have both enjoyed it not only at Easter, but at other times of the year as well. It is beautiful.
