Dark Spirits was a thrilling read that kept me coming back for more! I rushed through all my responsibilities so I could get back to find out what happens next. I thought Beyond the Eyes was a great read, but this one was even better.
Paige and Nathan make a wonderfully romantic and relatable couple. In the first book, we see them fall in love. In this one, we see them really start to know each other on a deeper level and they’re finding what makes the other tick. I think author Rebekkah Ford di

I was so excited to read the second book in the Beyond the Eyes series! Dark Spirits starts off shortly after Beyond the Eyes ends. I was a little sad that we didn't get to follow Paige through her training, but it was nice reading about her daydreaming about little moments that she shared with Nathan.

I think my favorite thing about this book is all of the plot twists! I love the secrets that were brought to light, answering questions left in the last book; but, I love that in answering those qu

I was so excited to be back in Paige’s world, and Dark Spirits did not disappoint.
Paige is still coming to terms with the powers inside her and the realization that Nathan may not be as trust worthy as she once thought.
This story is a little darker than Beyond the Eyes, but even more enjoyable. I loved the mystery and suspense and couldn’t stop turning the pages.

I loved this 30 chapter book. It was told through Paige’s first person point-of-view as well as Nathan’s first person point-of-view. They rotated chapters. I liked that the same characters from the first novel in the series were included in this one too. The author had a brilliant talent with characterization. Everyone, including the supporting characters, had an important role in the novel, and they weren’t one dimensional. The villains

Dark Spirits is a very entertaining book that pulled me in from the beginning. Ford's characters are well-developed with engaging and very human flaws. (Perfect people are boring.) The story flows smoothly and is action-packed, with bits of steamy romance and lots of intrigue, making this an excellent weekend read.

This second installment in the Beyond the Eyes series picks up several months after Paige has become immortal. In that brief time, she's begun to sharpen some of her spiritual powers a

Dark Spirits is another great book by Rebekka Ford. I fell in love with the first book Beyond the eyes. Dark Spirits had me on the edge of my seat. It was full of suspense and mystery through out the book.. I was hooked from the very first page. Page is still coming to terms with her new powers and she has a love triangle she has to deal with. The Author did a great job getting you to fall in love with the characters. Pick up the book today. You won't be disappointed.

Like Beyond the Eyes, I enjoyed reading Dark Spirits by Rebekkah Ford. It's interesting all the way through leading up to an explosive, shocking climax, and I have no problem rating this five stars, and now look forward to Reading The Devil's Third which is previewed at the end.

Dark Spirits takes off from where the first book in the series, Beyond the Eyes, leaves off. Firstly, I want to point out that this novel can stand alone. You do not need to read book #1 of the series to enjoy book #2. However, there are some great insights if you do - and I do recommend reading both books. Secondly, I thought Rebekkah Ford did a wonderful job of summarizing the first book within the second book in such a way that, if you had read the first book, that it didn't seem redundant. A ...more

Immortal Complications

This series MUST be read in order. The first book is Beyond the Eyes. This is the second book.

The narration told from two points of view was nice because you got to see both sides of the story and get all the information in a believable manner. It was great to read a book where the characters didn't always have to stop to fill in the blanks for the audience. Not many books use dual narration and a lot of the ones that do don't use it well but I am happy to say this book use

Dark Spirits by Rebekkah Ford is a delightfully spooky escape. A whimsical fun-filled tale that is both quirky and Edgy.

The Beyond the Eyes series is proving to be is an entertaining fun filled adventure. I really like the author's natural writing style. Easily pulled me in and captivated my interest. I also like that you get more than one point of view, it makes for even a better read. The characters are realistic in an unrealistic world. Made me feel for them even if their plights are differen

I was sent this book by Rebekkah and I am absolutely dumb struck. Not only has she managed to keep me interested in the story, she has left me thirsty for more. I love all of the characters, even the demons. Paige and Nathan have both developed in their relationship and in their characters, growing with every turn of the page. i did not think this book could be any better then beyond the eyes, but i was wrong. this book skips back and forth from nathans point of view and paige's POV, but it is very easy to follow. the love triangle between paige and nathan and paige and brayden is frustreating! but at the same time i totally understand why paige has the feelings that she has. There was so much action and twists and turns in this book, and i loved every page of it! I cannot wait to read book 3!

Rebekkah Ford has done it again. She as I said before has written another riveting addition to this amazing series. I while reading Dark Spirits would think I had it all figured out and turn to the next chapter only to find I was wrong. I am loving this series so far and am so looking forward to the third book with so much enthusiasm I almost can not contain it. I will again tell you to go get this series I am sure you will love it as well!

Okay, I can’t say it enough. Rebekkah Ford rocks when it comes to her Beyond the Eyes series. Dark Spirits is a great sequel book 1. It keeps the suspense level high and makes you eager to read what comes next. It does for me, which is why I’m off to book 3.

Paige and Nathan are together, her mother has died and it seems every dark spirit is out to kill her. But Carrie and Tree stand with her as close friends. Brayden is becoming a total jerk as he thinks she belongs to him and not Nathan. The old one wants her alive, to help him find the incantations, but another dark spirit, someone who used to be infatuated with him, wants her gone.

The story has merit and the characters are slowly developing. Paige is over dramatic, but is only eightee

Great read

I am really enjoying this series. Paige annoys me with her insecurities about Nathan, because come on the guy loves her, luckily for her he is super understanding. This whole dark spirits inhabiting soulless people is strange, never heard of someone without a soul before.

Pretty good follow up

While I did get a little tired of the teen angst, I did enjoy this book two in a YA series because it is well plotted and the characters are attractive. There are a few editing issues--one paragraph uses collaborate when she means corroborate and except for accept--but in general it's not too distracting.

Quick Disclaimer: I received a free copy of Dark Spirits as part of my payment for having done the book cover. Also, I don’t typically read paranormal romance, so what I may say might not be the same as someone else who reads a lot of paranormal romances. That being said, on to the review!

The characterizations were definitely enjoyable. My favorite characters were Tree, Max, and Ameerah. Even though Max had very little screentime, he stood out as a nice guy. I’d like to see more of him, though I

This is the second book in this series and Beyond The Eyes needs to be read first.

Paige Reed has just become immortal and knows that she must discover the truth about the incantations. Yet she must also figure out whose side everyone is on and who will umltimaterly keep her safe.

Her love for Nathan continues to grow but he is trying to hard to keep her safe and in doing so he is pushing her away and not making her feel equal with him. Then Brayden comes back and treats aige like she is wanting.
