I had this as a kid! Annie reminded me of it today talking about homophones (words spelled the same but sound different like minute [60seconds] vs. minute [very small]), homographs (words spelled differently but sounds the same like air and heir). She asked if there was a word for words that sound the same but have different meaning and I said "homonym! Thanks Mom and Dad for a great gift
Excellent for a fun way to teach homonyms... some words are slightly less used in modern language but many are appropriate for middle elementary grades. I prefer his other book "Eight Ate" - all the same advantages with more contemporary language.
