These stories are quirky, solidly formed and pretty much always with a satisfying ending. There are tales of the unexpected, magical realist fantasies, and clever, clever writing that stays with you long after the last full stop. Cherry Potts and Katy Derby make a great team, having compiled these well written stories that sit safely just outside the box. I loved the whole collection, and feel very proud to have one of my lies appearing in such a fantastic book.
