Good, pragmatic nutritional advice geared towards optimizing for athletic performance, with carry-over into general energy and alertness. What's advocated is basically classic paleo: lots of meat and whole vegetables, avoiding overly processed foods and ones that cause systemic inflammation. The plan is based on the pragmatic effects of such a diet, and as such contains advice for scaling one's macronutrient intake to one's body type and activity intensity. Pretty good read on making paleo work for the specific demands of lean muscle building for powerlifters. Worth the time it took to read but take advice with a grain of salt if your exercise differs from a starting strength/wendler 531 philosophy. If you're doing more prolonged exercise you may not want to follow his macro-nutrient breakdown exactly. ...more

This is a fantastic resource. A very pragmatic approach to supporting heavy training using paleo guidelines in a non-dogmatic fashion.
