A semi-autobiographical parable of Grace and forgiveness (If you read Manning's bio at the end, you see the relationship of the story to his life). Simple one sitting read. Not Manning's best and not the most compelling fiction (even as a didactic parable, it isn't the most well crafted and has a couple of contradictory details in the narrative). But in the category of didactic fiction, this was still better than Who Moved My Cheese?

Good very quick read Not Brennan's best but goes well with one of my very favorites of his (a must read) The boy who cried Abba.
