This book was difficult for me to read, style-wise. However, it's message is as relevant for us today as it was when it was first printed so it's worth the effort to consume the material. It's tempting to dismiss the book because of its emphasis on modernity and our inclination to dismiss the influence of modernity given that we're now in a post-modern world. That would be a mistake.
