I thought the movie was great and entertaining to watch.
In society base, i think the strongly implies on fixing hunger, friendship, and emotions. The main character in this movie had friends with him the whole journey which kind of proofs that their friendship is close. The main character reminds me a little more of Steve Jobs. He is a very smart man that comes up with creations of his own just like the character in the movie. In realism, i think that greed, means a lot to the story. I think that both the main character and the tall skinny enemy of his have greed. Destroying the whole city with food is obviously a sign of greed and trying to destroy all the food creatures and possibly having to benefit out of that is also a sign of greed. In literature base, i think that this movie is protagonist- disorganized, adult innuendos, Biblical literal and has south park allusion.
This was Israel pick. He won this as a prize for his good attendance for library class each week. He also absolutely loves this movie and has seen it probably 20 times or more. As for the book, I think that he enjoyed it and he definitely had some of the dialogue memorized just from watching the movie. From my perspective, it was confusing to read, hard to understand unless you have seen the movie and not a very good story. It is obviously just written to sell books to kids who love the movie. It's actually called a movie novelization. The kids may love this, but I don't think it will hold much appeal for adults.
It wasn't the best book. But it is a whole lot like the movie. In the book there is a lot of detail. As I read I could picture it in my head of what was happing because my little brothers watch the movie a lot.
After the disastrous food storm caused by his machine, Flint Lockwood and his friends are forced to leave the town of Swallow falls. Flint accepts the invitation from his favorite inventor Chester V to join Live Corp, where the best inventors in the world creat better technologies for the world. As Flint works for Live Corp he ends up getting humiliated after he loses the vesting ceremony and accidentally activates his party in a box at the wrong time. Eventually Flint is called back to Live Corp to investigate a problem that food animals are learning to swim and are going to take over the world and the FLSDFR still works. Flint accepts the mission so he gathers his friends and uses his grocery delivearatour, but fiends out it only works on food beasts like living pickles, hungry tacos, shrimpanzees and apple pie thorns. When investigating an abandoned Live Corp, they find a strawberry named Berry Flint is scared at first then it is okay if it goes along the trip. Flint and his friends become amazed by the food. Though makes Sam suspicious of Chester V operation on Swallow Falls.
