Ronde and Tiki are sad that they are no longer playing football for the Eagles, but they are busy with other things, like working and writing an advice column for the school newspaper. Great sports story. I haven't read the others in the series, but I want to make sure I have them in the library if they are as good as this one. I don't follow basketball closely, but I do know the basics and I was able to follow all the basketball parts of the book. Twin African-American boys play basketball. I like that it wasn't about race. Somewhat simple, yet there are deeper lessons if you look. They help a star player learn how to control his temper and work with the team. Excellent! and highly recommend reading for young African-American boys. Good book for the reluctant reader.
