Juan and Eva Peron formed a charismatic and formidable partnership, arousing passionate emotions in Argentina during the 1940s and 50s. This biography explores their life together, including the effect of Eva's phenomenal popularity on Juan's campaign for re-election, and her own plans for reform.
Actually good pocket biography; didn't go into the detail of regular biographies but well written and gave me a bigger glimpse into Argentian history without having to read 500 pages. So good introductory and good value.
Very interesting, and I really wanted to know more about Evita after watching the amazing musical. It was a very good book, but there was also quite a bit of bad grammar, which was annoying. Eva was an amazing woman.
This book is a decent overview, nothing much to note there. I just wanted to say that both Eva and Juan lived a real life soap opera, and after I finished this book I found myself question if what I read was actually fiction instead. They were insane. That is all.
