this book was provided by the author for a honest review
Honestly...it was a read I...how to say it honestly...I was struggling to read.
My main problem was that I never had have any issues when I reached a certain age (ok, tell, 30 OMG!!) - I was planning a big party, but never had have something like "I am alone, why me and what my mommy/BFF/neighbor will say about this??
Reding this book I am starting to consider myself lucky that I hadn't have so inner pressures like in this book.
So I really wasn't interested how the author's best friends has solved this problem and settled their life when they were older (37 years old!!)
I doidn't find any connections with their problems, how it could be solved, how you can finally manage to move on an have a full life alone, and on and on.
The author tries to give us some different aspects, like societal pressure and fantasy lover vs reality, but honestly, there was nothing new you couldn't read in any internet article.
So, summarize: if you are just nearing this mystical 30 years maybe this will be a good lecture for you what NOT to do, but otherwise - I was really happy that this only so few pages.
Felt no conntection to this problems, but maybe you'll have an other opinion.
