"Arranged to Love" is a delight. Maddie, the heroine, is a fantastic example of a woman who knows who she is. It's really nice to have a heroine who respects herself and those around her.

Jack is just as appealing. Strong, honest and credibly imperfect.

Family is an issue through out the book, and those tangled relationships are portrayed well and explored just enough to support the main romance.

The cross-cultural element of the story felt authentic. It wasn't window dressing for the story, but in

Madhuri (Maddie) Singh has just started out in journalism when she falls for Jack Faulkner, the probable heir of the largest publishing company in Australia, Faulkner Publications. Working hard to pay back the dowry she spent on her studies, Maddie has always planned to marry an Indian man and for her prospective husband to be chosen by her parents. It’s clear that this is not a ‘forced’ marriage but one that is ‘arranged’ and Maddie respects and values her Indian heritage and traditions. But on ...more

This is a great romance! Elizabeth Dunk has created two genuinely likeable and just messed-up enough characters to delight and entertain. There's undeniable chemistry between the two of them and quite a bit of spice too. I loved the Australian and Indian settings and the challenges inter-cultural relationships bring to lovers trying to satisfy their culture/parents and navigate and negotiate the minefield that is 21st century romance.

Recommended!

This book is a great. I like how the main character, Madhuri or Maddie fights to straddle two worlds and keep a balance. Ms. Dunk did a great job at keeping the story moving and interesting. I just wish there had been more retribution to those who did Maddie and Jake wrong.

I look forward to reading more by Ms. Dunk.

An intriguing glimpse into cultures and how they can clash and blend - as well as a fun romance!

Elizabeth Dunk is the contemporary romance writing alter-ego of Nicole Murphy, who cut her teeth writing science fiction and fantasy. A long-time romance fan, Nicole couldn’t resist attempting to sit fair and square in the modern world and bring two fabulous characters together and thus Elizabeth was born. As Nicole, she has dozens of short stories in print and published an urban fantasy trilogy, ...more
