First thought? Can't go wrong with any book that has Fallen Angels and Hell Hounds

Favourite line, I don't want owners to find a busted up angel and a buzzed vampire lurking in their shed and freak out!

Loved it! I loved the story back ground about the angels and the fallen. How the blood children came to be was AWESOME!!! The story flowed, gave you the perfect amount of back ground info. It just sucked me right in!
Sabrina was my favourite character and Baylee well she just needs a good smack!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this novel, and I completely devoured it. Seriously. Like refusing-to-get-up-from-my-chair-even-if-I-want-food-and-good-movies-are-on-TV kind of devouring.

The plot alone is great. Broken Faith is not one of those countless "sexy fallen angel and human girl romance". Okay, it does involve a sexy fallen angel, but there is a lot more to the story. Nacole is able to incorporate all kinds of supernatural creatures, tying them in together quite brilliantly.

First let me get a few wow's out of my system. WOW. WOW. WOW... This book was so much fun.

This book is told with alternating first person POV, mostly between Sabrina (Vampire) and Emma (Human). A few of the chapters are also told from Kayson's (Fallen Angel) perspective. This is not my favorite method of writing and I often find it a bit confusing. I fared fairly well with this book, though.

If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be: Spectacular!!

I'm not a fan of fallen angel stories. But, I am a fan of this one! This book takes the fallen angel concept to a whole new level. It was intriguing, full of action, humor, love, despair, lively characters and well...fallen angels, a vampire, some hell hounds...Lucifer know, the usual.

From the first paragraph, I am pulled into the story immediately by the battle between the fallen angel and the hell hound. The action starts here and resumes throughout the book. The Author does a great job on giving you a visual of what is occurring and keeping you on the edge of your seat. I could not read the book fast enough!

I loved the main characters with my favorites being Kayson and Sabrina. The Author describes each one with their individual personalities and I connected to all of them

Overall, I absolutely LOVED this book! The fight for belief and redemption and saving souls and yet keeping it all in the mortal world was wonderful. This was an excellent beginning to a new series and I look forward to reading more.

My only issues were that sometimes a character name was used that hadn't been used before and that would confuse me for a minute or two. Other than that and a few typographical errors, I enjoyed the book immensely and read it all in one night.

Bravo to the author for

Mind blowing !!!
How far would you go to protect a love one or a stranger if they needed your help against the gates of hell?

Ms Nacole has deliver more than a book, she have given us a chance to believe again!!!

Sabrina was willing to put her life on the line to help Kayson, knowing that she will be killed.

Kayson often his blood to her knowning, that is forbidden for a fallen to give a vampire his blood.

This story a epic battle of faith and good will, that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Broken Faith is about a battle between good and evil. Without getting too invested in religion, the book tells the story of a Fallen Angel and the people who help him, as he tries to prove the innocence of a wronged group while staying one step ahead of the Hell Hounds on his trail
The reason I gave this book only three stars is that it was really slow for me to get into the book. It was almost half way through the book before I became invested in the characters at all. Don't get me wrong, it had

To sum up this book in one word: OK.

I really liked the premise of this book - fallen angel meets vampire, vampire saves angel, and now they're both on the run from the deadly Hell Hounds. And they stumble into the path of a human, who is now drawn into this supernatural battle. Not 100% original, but interesting and engaging none the less. And, for the most part, I enjoyed the plot, and I wanted to k

Amazing Read! Brandy Nacole outdoes herself with this story! it has incredible characters and a truly fascinating storyline. I couldn't stop reading it from the very fist line it is a smashing read!

I enjoy when a story blends a variety of beliefs together well and the Brandy Nacole does not disappoint here. Fallen angels, vampires and humans all thrown together in a situation that forces them to test their beliefs while helping each other and struggling to survive makes a great start to this new Spiritual Discord series. Broken Faith was detailed but not overly verbose. The story was well paced with alternating POVs that

Loved this book. I am not surprised as I absolutely loved Brandy’s Shasdow World series. This is just as good as that one.

This story has a great new spin on vampires and angles (well fallen angels) with the creepy Hell Hounds thrown in too. I was on the edge of my seat right from the start. I loved how it goes between multiple points of views.

I really got to care a lot about most of the characters. Mostly loved Kayson, Sabrina, and Emma, and Briston grew on me as well.

I had really mixed emotions when I started this one. I loved Kayson's story of how he fell from heaven. I fell in love with hos character I think in the first page prologue. He was yummy and amazing throughout Tue whole entire story. However, the link the author established between all supernatural creatures and Lucifer really took me. I don't share her view that all supernatural abilitie

This is the second novel by Brandy Nacole that I have read and she has this amazing ability to combine numerous types of paranormal in one story and nail it every time. I really loved the concept behind this novel but the actual story was a little slow for me. I enjoyed how the author tricks you into thinking that here will be a love triangle but then bam there isn't lol. There were a few parts at the end of the

Who doesn’t like stories about angels…fallen or not. In this case Kayson is a fallen angel, a very good natured angel, and angel that didn’t go to the dark side when God disagreed with him and turned his back on him. And for that he fell for banished for something he truly believed was right.

So there’re fallen angels, a blood child, a half-blood child, several hell hounds that want to rip anything and anyone apart and regular humans as characters. The explanation of the half-blood child is very

I requested this book because i'd never read anything like it. I loved that there were different POV's so the reader gets a taste of each character. My favorite is definitely Sabrina, she was just so strong and loyal to Kayson. i wished we had more on Kayson's POV but it wasn't really necessary since it was balanced out by Emma and Falon. and for some reason i like Falon. Broken Faith is about a heart breakable fallen angel, a fierce but hurt vampire, and an innocent human just trying to help and survive. Through in some scary hell hounds and a few sweet, touching romances (thankfully, nothing of the typical triangle kind) and you have a great new start to a series!

I read books very quickly so when I sat down to read Broken Faith I was surprised to realize that I was finished in a matter of a couple of hours. I really liked Broken Faith! I do have to say that there are some areas that need more proofreading/editing. There are several misspellings and words that were left out (or left in) sentences where they did not belong. There were also a couple of parts that the names Payton and Galen were used - these names had not been in the story prior to their use and it seemed that these were supposed to be referring to existing characters in the story.

Other than that, the action started from the very first

I absolutely loved Broken Faith! I love para books, especially those with angels or fallen, and this one did not disappoint! I love how it draws you in from the very beginning, and when it goes from character pov to different character pov, it's clearly stated, so you aren't left guessing and confused. I like when books give you the altering view points and thoughts of each character. Sabrina is a half breed vampire created against her will and living off of animals because she believes she has a choice not to follow the dark ways of Lucifer and his followers. After being in hiding for over a 100 years, Sabrina stumbles upon Kayson a fallen angel who has been seriously hurt by a hellhound (the most power creature of the underworld, besides Lucifer).

Sabrina and Kayson find shelter in a shed of a quiet house that is actually made into a makeshift bedroom. While in hiding, they

Review for Broken Faith by Brandy Nacole. Review written by- Alexis O’Shell

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a fun read and the authors take on evil and vampires were interesting! One of my favorite things about the book was that it had a little something for everyone, romance, vampires, fallen angels, hell hounds, and a couple of ghosts, among other things. I LOVED Sabrina and Kayson (they were my favorite characters throughout whole book). I also liked what Emma and Briston had going

Broken Faith is the first in Brandy Nacole's Siritual Discord series and I immediately found myself immersed in the fantasy world she weaves, where Lucifer and his Hell Hounds govern the paranormal species, meaning Vampires and Fallen Angels are hiding and on the run - yet humans continue their lives ignorant of the war!
The narrative is told from four different points of view: Emma, the human; Falon, the Alpha hound; Kayson, the Fallen Angel and Sabrina, the Vampire. These stories all become int

I read this as an ARC edition (keep this in mind, in that it could go through another batch of editing before the final publication). I really debated on what to rate this book. I was so torn because the story line was GREAT! But the flow of the book and several editing issues made it a bit of a difficult read at times. There are places when it seems as if the wrong character is being named, and there are missing words. It isn't anything major enough that you cannot follow the storyline, but I f ...more
