Pretty good book. I liked Ava and the way she was taking back her life. I was glad to see that she finally got up the courage to leave her abusive husband. When Varo came to Kooraki to visit Dev and participate in the polo match, Ava was stunned to find that she was attracted to him. She didn't want to be, and she was still very wary of men. This story seemed to me to be written in a quite old-fashioned style, with asides from the author and lots of clothing and decor description. The story itself was good, though better in the Cattle Rancher story, IMO. But the language felt so overwrought. And while some 3 year olds are very articulate, most would have trouble saying Rapunzel. (though few could be as cute as my granddaughter's 'Fapunzel') Decent stories, but a lot of filler to wade through to get to it.

Margaret Way was born and educated in the river city of Brisbane, Australia. Before her marriage she was a well-known pianist, teacher, vocal coach and accompanist, but her hectic musical career came to a halt when her son was born and the demands of motherhood dictated a change of pace.

On a fortuitous impulse she decided to try her hand at romance writing and was thrilled when Mills & Boon ac
