Blood of Eve is the continuation of Eve’s journey and survival living in a post-apocalyptic world. I don’t usually read these types of stories, but when Pam told me about the series she said there is romance and since I love Pam Godwin’s stories I figured why the hell not. I read Dead of Eve and immediately I was dying for more. That says a lot because these aren't little stories, but I was so completely involved in the story I didn’t even see it ending until it did. Now I have finished Blood of ...more

Peace didn't come without tragedy, and love didn't bloom without pain.

Holy. Shit!!! This was such an intense read.

So many thoughts. So many reactions. I've literally been trying to work on this for days. I'm all over the place. Sorry for my scrambled review.
Where to begin?

Since this was a continuation to Dead of Eve, it picked up after the events of book 1. Reading the first book is a must.

I have no clue how to classify this series as it’s in a league all it’s own.
Dystopian, post-apocalyptic, some romance, Kinda reverse-harem but it is so far advanced from the usual ones I’ve read previously and it is very slow burn and takes the time to build the bond for all involved here.
Some horror, plenty of action and a whole lot of love and connection.

This is an epic unpredictable journey one that doesn’t pull it’s punches and will probably rip your heart clean out of your chest and then st

Blood of Eve is just as suspenseful and dark as Dead of Eve. But one major difference in this story is the steaminess. It gets extremely hot.

Three amazing men. One woman. Oh... my...

I can't even pick a favorite. Each guardian is different and essential to Eve's life as she fights against the person responsible for creating the deadly virus.

I couldn't put this book down. The action kept me glued to my Kindle, and the ending made my my eyes wat

Two years after the aphid outbreak Eve and her Guardians are on the search to save nymphs. All while avoiding the most dangerous of predators, man. New powers are discovered and prophecies are fulfilled.

Blood of Eve rivals The Walking Dead in my opinion. This is my second scifi/post apocalyptic book, the first being Dead of Eve. I liked this one even better, it's jam packed with action, great comic relief and it's also more erotic than DoE. Pam Godwin writ

I just sat there, smoke in hand, cocktail at the ready, tear streaming down my face and sighed. Pam, you have outdone yourself. Your writing, your imagination, and your characters are exquisite. I found absolutely no reason for me to read this one, but I kinda had to see how it all ended. So I skimmed the entire thing. Though, I did stop a bit when the menage started.... ;) Also, I kinda enjoyed the last pages (we are talking about 2-3 pages of the ending here).

Who knew a Dystopian paranormal erotica romance drama could enthrall me, emotionally gut me, and leave me begging for more? Did Blood of Eve (Book 2) go where I wanted it to go - No. Did Blood of Eve go where it was destined to go - ABSOLUTELY. There's not much I can share about Blood of Eve without spoiling it so let me just say author Pam Godwin wrote a 5 star story that kept me in a m
I can't quite put my finger on what about this book didn't work for me. I was really looking forward to it. I found the first book a nice mix of horror, sci fi, dystopia, and romance.

Book 2 focused a lot on fate, premonitions, and relationships. A large part of the beginning was a ton of lusty filled angst. Instead of a love triangle we've got a love square which is a whole lotta dude. The middle part of the book was dominated by hard core erotica. It was dir-tay. Like really dirty. I didn't mi

Feck me. I don't usually start a review this way, but this book.

My bones were chilled, I'm on fire, I'm completely consumed with all things Evie.

Say you read dystopian. Say you read romance. Say you read sci-fiction.
This story is going to open you up and spit you out. If you love out-of-box, then this a must. I was slayed. EVERY waking moment was reading this book. Albeit long, but it packed a knife to your throat. Well thought out and engaging. I don't have much experience with this
An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review.

First off, I would like to say that Pam Godwin is an author of the highest caliber. She doesn’t do a slap dash job of creating a book. Her work is carefully edited and the stories flow smoothly. This is the 5th book that I have read by Pam and all of them have been awesome.

A combination of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 28 Days Later and The Walking Dead, Blood of Eve is the continuation from Dead of Eve in the Trilogy of Eve series. This story is

I fucking survived the fall of civilization, the mutations, the anarchy, and the monsters who started it all. Deep breath. I could do this.

This book! This book was everything.

Two years after a crazed religious zealot unleashed a devastating virus on the world, turning men into aphids, women into nymphs and killing of its children, Eve along with her three guardians continue their quest to save humanity. With the creatures evolving and a dark prophecy looming Eve must use her blood to help cu
OMG. If you, like me, found yourself thinking book one was just okay, my advice is to see it through. This book made me feel two things - tears and arousal. If I wasn't crying I was turned on. This is the most erotic book Godwin has written imo. And I've read them all.

Evie and her guardians have found the key to saving the women. But they're also doing everything they can to spare Evie from the prophecy. Especially Jesse. The sexual tension is thick in the beginning and evil Ms. Godwin makes you

Oh my goodness, this was the longest, most detailed, and enthralling book ever! I blanched when I saw the length of this book, convinced there was no way I could get through it...but here I am, even if it's slower than I hoped, finished with the second book in the series.

I'm a blubbering mess.

How this book ended...I knew it was coming, but I was convinced Jesse, Michio, and Roark would come through....all I ended up with was blurry vision as Dawn emerged.

It was the single most agonizing sunrise

Oh my, what an ending! I have chills and tears! My heart is wrenched! This book is... WOW. I've never read anything like this. The imagination that went into writing this story is beyond me. When I say this is original, I mean I have never even come close to reading a story like this. Blood of Eve is compelling, enthralling, captivating. The love shared between Eve and her Guardians is something worth reading. The sensuality, sexiness, and excitement in this book isn't something you want to miss ...more

This book was even better than book one in the series. I have a major girl crush on Evie. She is an absolute badass heroine. While the guys are all so different but united in their love for Evie. Book one more focused on world building and introducing all of the characters. While this book just hits you with the emotions and major steam between Evie and her guardians. The ending will hit you in the feels but fit the book so well, I couldn't have seen it ending any other way.

One woman, Three men, and an adorable Dog! Together they will survive an apocalypse and find the deepest love!

Pam Godwin is an amazing writer, who draws you in to her stories with evocative prose that reaches right inside of you, latches on deep, and pulls you toward an adventure you weren’t expecting. Her characters are so incredibly real they become a part of your family. You’ll find yourself cheering with them, crying with them, and loving them long after the last page has been read.

After reading Blood of Eve it is impossible for me describe the way I am feeling. With a flurry of mixed emotions sitting at the pit of my stomach, 660 pages went by too fast and all I want is more. If you’re a Godwin fan, you know she has an uncanny ability to mix all dangerous and guilty pleasures, turning them into an exhilarating and heart stopping story, like no other. And Blood of Eve solidifies this notion.

They are 2 years into the apocalypse, with the virus that turns men into aphid monsters, turns women into nymphs and has killed all the children. Evie now has a purpose. A task that only she can do along with the help of her three guardians. Using her blood as the cure, they’ll set out on a journey to find the nymphs, the half-turned females that have survived, back into human form in hopes that they can begin to re-populate the country. But it isn’t going to be easy. Not only are they still fighting the aphids along with their maker (the egotistical zealot), but she’s also battling her guardians. As their love has grown and intensified w ...more
This was just as good, if not a little better than the first book. Evie was still a kick-ass. I didn't care for Jesse in book 1, but I definitely connected with him in this book. Roarke was goofy and lovable as usual. I found myself disconnected from Micchio this time around, but by the very end, I had warmed back up to him. Holy moly...the sexy times were SUPER sexy between the four of them (especially the m/m and m/m/m scenes!)

Can I just say Eve is one of the most strongest female leads I have ever read!
Love, passion, fight and fear all blended throughout this book and kept me flipping the pages.
Eve's guardians, can I just say wow! I need me some men like that. The devotion, the love, the fight they each have for Eve. Just amazing.
With breeds of life trying to kill them, the drone's unknown liveliness, will they survive?
Ahh I just loved this book. I need more!
