This was such a fun story! I loved the family dynamic- not only the immediate family, but also the extended work family. Samantha was such a great heroine- strong willed, confident, beautiful. And I loved her "adaptations". This was a great combination of fantasy and reality. I really liked how the men in her life dealt with her self safety issues. I have always enjoyed reading a good spanking scene. And these were so hot, they had my bottom clenching.

A great read!

This story is different because there is no romance involved. The guys keeping bright but bratty Sam is not a love interest but her brother, uncle, and dad. And with everything going on it takes all three to keep an eye on her. There are lots of other elements that make this story different and interesting but I don't want to give anything away.

*****Just purchased the updated version watch for updated review.

I am revisiting this series 7 years later because I am ready to finish it so I can link

This was such a fun story!

I loved the family dynamic.
This story centered on the family, instead of romance.

Samantha was such a great heroine- strong willed, confident, beautiful.

And I loved her adaptations. This was a great combination of fantasy and reality.

I really liked how the men in her life dealt with her self safety issues.

I have always enjoyed reading a good spanking scene.

And these spanking scene were some of the best I have read.

I loved the intimacy.

Samantha seems to find trouble and her father and brother have finally had enough and decide that she needs a good spanking. Her uncle Scott had been giving her spankings, but once she realizes all three are she tries to be better. Samantha had an accident and now can hold her breath longer under water and has made friends with a whale. We find out that Sam just can't stay out of trouble and drags her brother Mike with her sometimes. These four work very closely together and you find out what th ...more

I absolutely loved this book, the first of a great series. There's an unusual dd family with two heads of household with a dynamic that is wonderfully fulfilling to read about. The characters are so well developed, I feel like I know them. The fact that the dynamic travels with the family from home to work is simply genius. The plot is clever and entertaining. This book is among my favorites.

I love this series. This is the 3rd of 4th time I've read this book and it never gets old. I read the whole thing in one go - it certainly made the flight home from Samoa to New Zealand pass quicker!

I love the family dynamic in this series, especially that between Sam and Mike.
