This was a nice quick read that left me feeling blissful.

After all, I do love a good forbidden relationship. Especially teacher-student goodness :3

I like how straightforwad Kayla is. She doesn't seem like the girl to put up with bullshit and she goes for what she wants... And she gets it :3

Only thing I didn't like was the bestie.
Why the bestie gotta be so shady huh?
And recently, why are besties such...idk... UGH?

I notice how Kayla valued her friendship with her bestie, and it shows in her slight hesitance to confront her friend - even when her friend's action confused her.

Le Sigh.

Can I say that Ethan (Professor) is hot? I mean... phew~~!! It could just be my twisted attraction for all things forbidden. But let it be known. That professor is sexy as fuck.

This one is a really quick, easy read - possibly more of a prequel to the next in the series, which I do intend to read. It's fun, quick, easy and sexy and was rather enjoyable to read. If anything lost it a star, it would be that the main character, Kayla, is rather bland and doesn't seem to have much going for her other than the fact that she knows how to lean over the professor's desk in a rather revealing top - which is where the whole attraction begins to spring from (even though something is triggered a little beforehand, but this seems to be the catalyst). Ethan is a wonderful main man, and I'm pretty sure that if he wasn't fictitious, he would be indeed the 'school hottie' as it very much were!

This book is fast paced, interesting, sexy and extremely tense in areas; it's a really enjoyable novel, and I do wish that it was considerably longer because I could honestly take more of this couple! I really, really do like them together and I loved how you could feel the chemistry between them from the very start; which makes them so enjoyable to read about.

The novel follows the very typical teacher/student story arc, but that's the type of process that I love the forbidden love novels to take - so that is definitely not a negative thing (to me), but it's something to be aware of if you don't like typical tropes.

I did enjoy this and I do intend to follow this up to see where their story goes!

Kayla is failing a business course and asks Ethan, her professor, for some extra credit to help her pass. Kayla is very bland, there was nothing different or striking about her. She has a crush on Ethan and unconsciously tries to seduce him, by leaning over his desk in a revealing top. Ethan is interested but warns himself to stay away, so instead of giving her a paper to write or some independent study thing, he asks Kayla to help him with his research. They are locked in a room together, all alone. Of course this leads to one thing, them having sex on his desk. They didn't fight the attraction or try to talk them selves out of having an affair, they just have sex. This class is very important to Kayla, Ethan knows this, why is he not more suspicious of Kayla's motives, considering they barely know each other. It's also hinted that Ethan had a similar indiscretion, so why is he not more careful? Ended on a cliffhanger. Not enough here for me to read second installment.

I never had so many theories on what might happen next in a book, especially on that sort. Ealy in this book I had a bunch of ideas for Dana, Ethan and Kayla. Most of them were right and that was a shock because they were not good. It also made me wonder whats Ethans age. Ethan thinks he is old for her but Kayla does not say a thing about age difference. Third but not least is the two point of views who are telling us the story. It is 90% Kayla's POV and 10% Ethan's POV. The weird part is the way the person says the story. In Kayla's say it goes like this "I went to the office"(it is not a line from the book just an example) and in Ethan's case it is like this "He made breakfast and after that he went to work". See what I mean?
Anyway I will read Betrayed ( book #2) because the trilogy seems promising.

To be honest I'm surprised this short story has gained such high ratings. I have been reading independently published books for so long I have got to the point of overlooking grammar and spelling errors if the storyline hooks me line and sinker.

'The Professor' just fell flat. The story moved to quick to build any apathy for the characters. In addition, the erotic scenes felt as if they were written by an inexperienced teenage dipping into the naughty pool.

Yeah, I know I'm not one to talk. I can read and experience the naughty but I'll be damned if I would be able to write the experience. Have no fears I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. I'm going to give 'Betrayed' book #2 in The Professor Trilogy a chance and see if it moves me.

Originally read in 2018.
Meant to be part one of an erotic romance but not really much going on.

She and the professor have some pretty basic sex and that’s it. Conflict being set up with her friend Dana.

Boring, pacing off, and poor sex scenes.

This A Short Story (I would say pre-quel) .
We start out with Kayla, a business Major, who starts to lose her chances of moving forward in her studies because fails a test. Ethan is the professor of said class. Ethan offers Kayla a way to get extra credit (you'll have to read to find out what). It was an enjoyable quick read. The only thing is it ends suddenly, leaving you wondering whats going on! On to the next one....

I thought this was a fast read. It was a cool short story to read actually. The chemistry between the main characters was great. I thought the ending was new and different. I like Kayla, she is the girl who doesn't want to fail. I also like Ethan because he is confident and handsome. I am interested to see what happens in Book 2, which is a full-length novel. Can't wait! Hope it gets better!

not for me.

I like a little storyline win my sex, and while there was an attempt at that, it just wasn't for me. With lines like "He knew the signs, this wasn’t his first rodeo" it's hard to take seriously. Also, why use "manhood"??? It's a c**k! And if you're describing explicit sex scenes, it's ok to use that work! Doesn't make it cheaper than it already is.

It was too short! Just when it was just getting good the book ended! The Professor & Kayla had something good & intense & when her best friend Dana figured out that he was seeing her, the book ends. :-(

Ethan and Kayla. Professor. Works with him in extra credit. In book two, learns about him and her best friend. The friends break up later, when she realizes she lied and just didn't want him to be happy with a student again.

The professor....

Why weren't any of my college professors like Ethan? It was probably for the best. ;) this was a good read. You got to know a little about the characters and it was a good story line. I'm interested to see where this will go.

This story is the begining of a professor-student relationship, very short though... I need to read the second one to see how much Ethan wants Kayla.
