Practically Christmas / Carol Cox Most unwelcome gift / Pamela Griffin Best Christmas gift / Veda Boyd Jones Gift shoppe / Darlene Mindrup.
Christmas is a time for giving, and nothing bonds two hearts together like a gift given in love. Enjoy four brand-new inspirational novellas about modern couples who discover love and seal it with a gift.
Carol Cox has an abiding love for history and romance, especially when it’s set in her native Southwest. As a third-generation Arizonan, she takes a keen interest in the Old West and hopes to make it live again in the hearts of her readers. A pastor’s wife, Carol lives with her husband and daughter in northern Arizona, where the deer and the antelope really do play—within view of the family’s front porch.
I liked this book just for the last story...Gift Shoppe. That story is amazing, with how the guy bought gifts for her and wooed her. The other three are just okay.
Practically Christmas was a good Christmas story. I enjoyed the different types of stories this Gift of Love Book had in it. The best one was The Best Christmas Gift by Veda Boyd Jones. It involved a group of young adults stranded in a cabin near Christmas. They made the best of it and the two adults with them enjoyed it all as well, especially each other. Good stories in this book. All Christian related, which is what Christmas is all about!
All 4 quick reads which is perfect for me. I love that they are Christian based. And they were all very different story lines which kept it interesting.
